i love this , they should make it available forever no more limited edition . to me it does remind me of tomfords tobacco vanille a bit , perhaps more like a toned down more wearable version of tom ford tobacco vanille . gonna pick up a few more boxes of this .

I (Jer) am a 5 spray guy on almost all of my fragrances. One to each side of the neck, one to the back of the head, one on the top of each wrist. The hair on the back of my head and arms increases longevity, I find.

Agreed, I'd say its the best scent out there..to me anyways. I've been abusing Channel Edition Blanche this summer and plan on pounding on PH for cooler fall days, only cooler days...Texas fall weather is still hot lol. Nice vid

This is one of my all time favorite colognes. I absolutely love it! Unlike you, I dont get much longevity out of it, at most I get 4 hours. In respect to projection its below average for me. I definitely smell vanilla, cuban tobacco leaves and honey with some patchouli and its absolutely perfect! I highly recommend this fragrance!

When it comes down to A-Men and Pure Havane they both have something that throws me a curve ball in the opening. The tar note in the original and then the cherry/powder note in PH can be kinda iffy but then the dry down in these frags just reassure you. I love that dry down on PH with the vanilla, honey, and sweet cigar vbe..the kind of flavored cigars you see at the corner store for 1$ and they're flavored honey or vanilla.

pure havane smells 2 timesbetter smoother than pure malt the cherry tabacco honey top isamazingly perfect and the drydown of vanilla honey cacao amber is heavenly

Bought this one as soon as the re-release happened. Like it very much! I will be rotating this with A*Men TOF and Spice Bomb this fall, but this is definitely the superior scent. I don't get very good projection with this, but since I am indoors working with people most of the day I don't mind at all as I don't want to be offensive. Great review!

I love Fall because I get to wear Pure Havane again! I agree, it's the best thing I've ever smelled. I LOVE Pure Malt as well, but this one is special to me.

This fragrance is a winner and excellent review. I love pure malt too but I think Havane does a better job of changing the a men base into something unique. Pure malts opening is better than pure Havane but once it dries down the a men base takes over and the berry whisky notes are hardly noticeable. Have and love them both for sure though

Close to Tonka Imperial in the opening. Except they go different ways after that. Pure havane goes the cherry route, Tonka Imperial towards Vanilla

I think if you are an upperclassmen in highschool you can pull this off quite well. Im a senior in high school and i wear this all year round and get plenty of compliments with it. My girlfriend loves it and my friends think it is pretty good as well, but my friends and I have a mature taste in fragrances so I'm not sure how that plays in

that's really hard because it's really comparing apples to oranges. That said, I have a review of MI if you want to watch to get my full opinion. But in short, I don't care for MI, but I love Pure Havane.

I just got my Pure Havane home and the drydown is completely different from A*Men original. Much much more sporty while A*Men is most subtle and candylike. I prefer A*Men. My next purchase is Pure Malt, then im going for Gucci Pour Homme and Aoud Cier Montale. I will give Pure Havane a testride on the streets, but initially, i like A*Men more.

Great review guys! I personally prefer Pure Malt but this is definitely a top 10 fragrance in my collection, amazing for casual use and totally agree that the projection is fine the way it is. "FAALLLL!" had me crying with laughter.

@dave....this tobacco smells like the raw tobacco mashed up with liquid white lime. In India people use to taste this in the manner which i told you so.... its called (tobacco mawa) :P ..what you call in north india where it is very much used and liked among adults.

Pure malt doesn't intoxicate people when you overspray like Havane does. So just for that go for Pure Malt. But I'd say go find yourself a good deal and get both. Havane is manlier than Pure Malt which is why I expect ladies to like Pure Malt more. They dig more the sugary scents afaik.
