Please never put the cable over the A pillar airbag...if someone has an accident it will fly the cables and device and a massive speed. take the A pillar off and thread it under the airbag carefully. 👍 dont be lazy :)

Just watched the installation guide after getting the pure highway 400. Only have one question what if my car is a convertible and unable to connect to the roof ?????

the receiver is able to feed an active antenna that needs 5 volts? I would like to put an external active antenna which has the preamp. Thank you.

Ive just installed one of these in my car and the reception is terrible and wont stay tuned in to a station. Can a amplified external aerial be used with these? 🤔

Hi David, thank you for reaching out! If you own a highway 200, then we recommend the use of an external SMB type aerial as it can help with picking up stations with weaker reception.

@PureAudioHQ ive hooked this up to a amplified external bee sting type aerial and ive still got the signal loss like before. I'm going to try a 25db gain signal booster and see if that helps

Hi David, thank you for your return. If the issue persists even with the signal booster, we suggest checking for a heated windscreen, UV filter or any in-built/external electronics, i.e. sat-nav, dashcam or multimedia system. These can cause interference with your signal. Additionally, we suggest using the grounding cable as well, it is supplied with the highway and can get rid of some reception issues. Should the issue persist regardless, we recommend checking for a replacement antenna. We do not have them in stock any longer, but you might find them available in online stores.

How do you remove the adhesive that is stuck to your car?

Hi Kadi, just twist and pull until the adhesive pad comes away. To remove any stick patches, wipe away with a damp cloth. Thanks

Does it come on automatically or do you have to turn it on manually? And does this have as good signal strength and the highway 400 and 600? Thanks

The unit switches on automatically when it gets power. The reception quality is comparable. BR, Marco

Had a nightmare with my highway 200 bought brand new , the sound is dreadful it screatches loudly when playing , only remedy so solve is by half pulling the jack plug out , then its crystal clear , theres nothing wrong with Aux socket as all other devices work perfect , what do you think about this Pure ???

then our Highway 400 or 600 is the right product for you. With these models you can transfer the signal via FM transmitter. However, the connection via AUX is more stable. BR, Marco
