WOW, what a scruffy install, I took the time to install the aerial as close to the top of the screen as possible, hiding all cables and making things look tidy, I had to pop the A pillar and remove the two screws holding the sun visor so I could get proper access to hiding the cables, I also removed the radio and fed a 12v supply in to the glove box, Do you really want cables all over the place, after much faffing around I placed the head unit in the ashtray compartment and powered up the unit, now I'm getting all excited,(well that didn't last long) The unit only found five channels and the quality was rubbish, so I moved the car and did a rescan,(nope only five channels)WHAT am I doing wrong!!!!!. I found that the Dash Cam is completely wiping out the DAB reception even though I chased the cable down the other A pillar, So now I have to buy a pack of Ferrite choke rings, spent another couple of hours stripping and fitting the choke rings then went for a drive, Does the signal stay constant "NO" is it a five minute fit "NO" was it really worth the effort and money, probably not.so in short all this time and effort was a waste of time. I`ll buy a DAB radio and put the KTC-500DAB on ebay. Sorry folks but these five minute fixes just don't work.

Thank you for the comment. The adapter would use the built-in car stereo (or an aftermarket one if you have one fitted). The adapter receives the DAB stations or Bluetooth and then transmits it on an FM frequency which you would tune into on your car radio. The adapter will display the FM frequency to use. If your car has an aux-in audio socket you could also use that instead.
