I have read this book about a month ago, and I would say it has changed my life. I was already an Orthodox Catholic. Now I only receive the Eucharist on the tongue, and many other, and other, things. Praise be Jesus Christ.
@celticmist14 Жыл бұрын
It is not about tradition. it is about relationship. The tongue is the most wicked part of us but again it is your personal choice. I urge you to look at the videos of catholic evangelist Troy Black on youtube. He addresses this matter.
@UniquelyMary Жыл бұрын
There is no contradiction between tradition and relationship with God - that is a false dichotomy- it’s because of human tradition passed down that we even know of who Jesus is - and Jesus in one healing spit on a man’s tongue and healed him - Jesus has sanctified our whole body through baptism
@celticmist14 Жыл бұрын
@@UniquelyMary Well yes to an extent there is if there is an emphasis on the tradition above the relationship with Christ. At that point the rules over shadow and it becomes a legalism, however if this practice works for you then that is your right to practice, but it is NOT for everybody. It also says in Scripture that the tongue is wicked but humans are corrupt in nature. Jesus broke the bread and gave, it (hand to hand) to HIS disciples and said, take this all of you and eat it. This is BODY which will be given up for you. HE did not ask the apostles to receive it on the tongue but rather handed them bread to them in fellowship. This practice was introduced later on. Jesus healed ALL body parts when HE walked this earth. One final thing is this lady's visions approved by the Church because , as we all know, we must be discerning with spirits and the spirit world. May Gods peace be with you

@@UniquelyMary Alvaro, you have no idea. Unbelievers, or better said, apostates, have terrible times, but the worst are 33rd degree Masons. I even had a couple of Wiccan /Occultism, and one Catholic man who had repented of his abuse to the children, who had last rites and Confession. A prostitute who had converted, and a Jehovah's Witness. I firmly believe that there may be expiation in those final moments ( we call it The Bridge). I think soul work is being done at those moments. The Protestant chaplain thoroughly chastised me for that, but I firmly believe many people receive a.visitation at that moment. @@amandasutherland1449 I have been under spiritual attack since before I got married, more than 16 years ago. It has gotten more intense these later years. It is my belief that it is to cause me to lose hope and I will be "sifted as wheat." I return to the rosary, and I am given a reprieve from the scourges sent against me. For the sake of my family I persist. St. Alfonsus Liguori stated upon seeing the souls in Hell that they had stopped praying, hence thier incarceration. I had a dream -- my very hold grandfather appeared -- he told me not to worry about sin -- everyone goes to Heaven -- I was troubled -- but I had an idea -- I went over to him and hugged him, saying as I did, I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ -- I was amazed that I had the strength to hold him for he violently tried to shake me off -- I said a second time "I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ" -- my "grandfather" continued to struggle violently as I hugged him -- I repeated a third time "I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ" -- my grandfather disappeared completely -- I woke up -- I felt good -- the devil is the only being humans should be taught to hate -- I beat him, or rather JESUS beat him.
