Spray the purge valve rubber holder with lubricant and it will come off easier.

My theory is if you own a later, 2007 forward N52 engine, if you have a "rough idle" it is due to the lack of an idle control valve on that engine. Meaning, everything from ignition, to DISA valves, to throttle body, and throttle position sensor, PCV valve, air filter all must be in prime working condition to get the engine to idle properly.

There's even more to it than that since it's a fussy one but if you're after perfection with it; it'll let you have it. I've done it. When I was done with it I literally thought it didn't start.

I have a 2006 330 e90 when I press the brake my rpms Rev up and down. Is this a sign of a bad purge valve? I can't get an answer from anyone including my local bmw dealer.. it's ridiculous.

The brake booster is creating a vacuum leak (false air) entering your intake. Not common at all but very posible. Disconnect brake booster line from the intake to test. You will not have brake assistance so be careful
