Hello Gents and great video. I have a 2010 335i and need to replace the purge valve also. I see that you have the throttle body off on your car. Do I have to take it off on the 335i? Can I reach it from the underside of the car? I have the air filter and tubing off and I don't see any other way around it. Do you have a video to take the throttle body off the car? Thanks, Ken

When I go to get gas my 335i e90 will not fill up on its own I have to keep pulling the trigger because the pump stops as of my tank was full but its empty I have a Service engine soon light and it says evap vent valve stuck open would this fix that issue for me? Please let me know thank you 👍

@@trulyrenzo2791 I cleaned my charcoal canister and broke up the particles inside as best I could. After I went to fill up and I had no issues for a while but it'd starting up again so I may need a new charcoal canister

I have another question so I have a cel im at about 60k miles N55 90 I've reaserehced and have seen many stories many sides and many issues about the evap system I've learned there's the charcoal canister 300$ The pump on the cannister The purge valve And multiple pipes running through the system to the gas tank and charcoal canister My question is how do we know exactly what it is I've seen stories of people buying the wrong part and it did nothing The problem with me is the gas nozzle shuts off prematurely it doesn't matter how full it is and I have a code that says the evap vent value is stuck open I do notice I bit of a rough idle sometimes and the car doesn't feel 100 it feels 98 if you know what I mean Please help thanks

@@jplumb5591For me I think it may be the charcoal canister I did a test to see. try taking out your charcoal canister and shaking it if doesnt sound like sand moving around try hitting it gently against a hard surface once you break up the charcoal as best as you could re install the charcoal canister if your symptoms disappear you need to replace your charcoal canister. But I have yet to replace my charcoal canister so idk if that's the issue there's a possibility that's also just a symptom But if you're guilty of filling your tank to full and then trying to over fill your tank to get extra gas that is a huge mistake all the extra gas drains down to the canister and clumps up the charcoal
