It was as described however because your engine was out of the vehicle the fuel line was easy for you. I could not disconnect the fuel line. It would have been better to see you do it in the car.

Once the purge valve is replaced how to reset to turn the check engine light/check gas cap

You can reset the code with an OBD tool, or disconnect the battery and let it sit overnight. It will also usually reset itself after driving around 100 miles.

My 2015 has 3 buttons and one bolt in the top left. take care to check before "popping it off". ...
