Water is supposed to have a ph of 7 as it’s supposed to be neutral. Anything a little above (alkaline) or below (acid) is okay but you really want your water to be neutral because that means there’s nothing in there that shouldn’t be. So Volvic was actually the best.

Lower TDS doesn’t mean better water quality. The best water (and probably the costliest) is mineral water. And if you test it, it would probably have the highest TDS and conductivity because of the minerals in them. As far as I’m concerned, all of them have shown pretty good results. If you want less TDS, drink water processed by reverse osmosis filter. Companies add minerals for the water to taste sweeter which increases the TDS and makes it alkaline.

@CoTubeAk6 жыл бұрын
from a scientific perspective you falsified the test results by using the machine in a way in which u directly took it out from one fluid sample and put it directly into the next one. You still have residue from the previous sample which of course has an influence on the upcoming/next scan. I'm not entirely sure how much that might affect the overall quality of your test, however if I remember correctly, especially in regards to conductivity it's important to clean the device. Of course these might just be tiny details. Anyways, great video brother, keep informing us and may allah bless you! as salamu aleikum wa rahmatullah
@CoTubeAk6 жыл бұрын
Using the machine without cleaning it will definitely falsify your results. Of course in this case you cannot say how much of a negative influence it might have. But it is definitely visible. Besides it's not like i just made up my statement. Maybe I speak from experience? of course you might also speak from experience so, both might be correct. haha bless you brother and have a nice day!

@Smile 2 Jannah.... I watched another video about fanta. Your efforts to understand what we eat are commendable. But there are fundamental flaws with your understanding. Here are some of my scientific criticisms 1. Saying water has a memory is a wishy washy metaphor. What does it mean. Do you mean water remembers its past state? Which part of it? Under what conditions? What do you mean by remember? Be careful of falling into the homeopathic trap. 2. You are saying two potentially contradictory statements with regards to pH and conductivity. pH is based on the dissociation of OH and H ions in water. Typically a pH of 7 means that the water is neutral in this dissociation. As the water alkalinity increases the dissolved ions are likely to increase in water. So for instance salt will dissociate into Na and Cl ions making the solution more alkaline based on the attractive force of ions of water and NaCl. However if you want the least conductive solution you want to reduce dissolved ions in solution thus you want distilled and deionized water. However an increased alkalinity may imply an increase in ions and a reduction in conductivity. So you are stuck in your definition of healthy. Should it be more alkaline or less conductive brecause you can't really have them both easily. You need to define what makes water healthy or unhealthy. 3. I had a brief look at some articles about alkaline water. The jury is out on whether it is healthy or not. Healthiness would have to be dependant on the particular person. For instance if you have a gastro intestinal problem such as heartburn. Then you want a high alkaline substance to reduce the acidity of your stomach. If for instance you want to do nasal cleaning, you want to try a maintain the pH conditions of your nasal passage while reducing the chance of infection. So you want a pH that's a little higher than neutral. Generally, it sems that there is agreement that distilled water is alright for drinking. But often ions are added to water (e.g. Mg) to ensure that drinkers get some minimum amount of nutritional substances that the body cannot manufacture on its own. These then take the role of being used in biochemical processes for body repair and regulation. If the ratio gets too high the effect can lead to problems such as dehydration. If they get too low they can lead to problems in ion transport for things like neuron firing. Im not a chemist so please take my analysis with a pinch of salt and correct me as needed. However as a scientist and a muslim, I really encourage muslim viewers to start the process of learning the actual science. Its like a desert out there. Why are there so few muslims doing science? These questions have been extensively discussed by the scientific community why not engage? @Smile 2 Jannah, your analysis is a bit dodgy (as you said) but you are asking good questions and trying to engage. Its really nice to see some people in the muslim community moving in this direction.

Pure water is PH 7. The presence of H+ ions causes water to be more acidic, and the presence of OH- ions causes water to be more alkali. Eating acidic or alkali foods has no effect on the PH of the human body. Mineral water is traditionally considered healthy because of the presence of minerals, mostly consisting of group 1 and 2 metal carbonates, oxides and hydroxides, increasing the water's alkalinity. It is the presence of minerals that make the water better, and not the higher PH.
@SonGoku-io7sh5 жыл бұрын
Yes and a water of higher pH will mean it has more "ingredients". Whether those are minerals or other chemicals is what needs to be discussed. However you can generally say (assuming the companies who list the minerals on their bottles are telling the truth), that the higher the pH, the higher the content of minerals in the water.

'Calcium and magnesium' aren't bad for you, and I can assure you that the bottled waters are all safe for you to drink. Putting a small amount of chlorine in tap water has prevented many deaths and made safe clean water accessible to us all. This test, i hope was a joke because it's embarrassing and some impressionable kids and adults will probably be scared to drink certain kinds of water as a result of this. 🤦🤦🤦

Can you do a test on glass bottle highland spring, i think all plastic bottle test will obviously be bad but what about glass bottle; if you do a review on a bunch of glass bottle waters like aqua panna spring water, highland spring glass bottle etc that would pretty much round up the reviews youve done as youve mainly done plastic bottles and sparkling glass bottle; reviewing the differences between the glass bottle and plastic bottle versions will help people make informed decision if its really of a good enough benefit to justify people buying a monthly crate of glass bottle water rather than plastic; so people can have informed choice buying glass bottles with a degree of extra confidence on weather they are better or not; aqua panna spring water in america apparently has very few contaminents or even none one person has claimed even though they dont affilate with awua panna as their reasoning us organic fruit waters are best in todays climate in america however im in the uk we dont have that water here but we do have highland spring glass bottle water and highland spring when you research, they make all sorts if claims yet i see no certifications on their product labelling although they say theyve have certifucations of things and bottle at the sourve of a clean spring yet they dont mention any treatment processes but i onow ove here in the uk they dont have to disclose this information apart from 5 types of treatment yet any other treatment can be usef outside of thrse 5 buy if thry dont have to disclose this to the boards or whoever thrn they doen have to disvlose this to us so therrs a definite posdibility their clsims of no trestments etc are not true
