*Extremely* well done. The only post/video I could find so directly addressing doing this on the Norah's Vintage Afghan pattern. So helpful. Thanks!

Hello Jana. First your mom is so cute. She does beautiful work. I crochet also. The afghan she made is simply gorgeous 🤗. Continue cherishing your mom. I lost mine when she was 50. Oh how I miss her, she was crafty too. Jana your block are beautiful. I wasn't watching you tube a year ago. Yes, I can see this takes a long time, if you're not constantly working on the project. Keep up the good work.👍🏼 Enjoy your video. Thank you for sharing. Many blessings😇

🇬🇧 Hi Ladies. I loved to see your beautiful afghan all finished Jana. I have just finished knitting mine and am ready (I think!) to join. I notice that you choose to have your joining seams showing on the front of your blanket. I hoped to have mine showing at the back (like your Mums cream blanket at the start of this video) would you have any advice in doing this? Thank you so much for your amazing videos, I have loved having them as a point of reference whilst embarking on my blanket. Warm wishes Davina 😊

Just put the right sides together when joining so that the seem stick up on the back side. Thanks for watching the series!

Can we see the front side of your join? Both your squares and Carol's blanket are lovely.

Follow me on FB and IG and I'll be sure to post photos as I get further along. And I'll be showing more when I do the video about the border. All the links are in the video description

Right sides together, like sewing, then you switched & put it wrong sides together, meaning the ridge ended up on the right side, I'll be doing mine with ridge on the back.

Love your Mom Carols knit blanket. What is color and yarn that she used? Love your videos too! Thank you

She says it was an eggshell color worsted weight from Knit Picks.

I was told you take the darker of the 2 squares to do the attaching
@PurlTogether4 жыл бұрын
I'm not quite getting what you mean by taking the darker of the squares. Do you mean using the darker yarn for attaching?
@victoriamcclain25774 жыл бұрын
@@PurlTogether Yes you take the darker yarn of the two squares. But I like how your looked with a neutral.

I am just finishing this - your videos have been so so helpful. Just wondering how much yarn does the icord border use?
