the valley was absolutely an amazing place to grow up from the 90s-2010s. infact, still haven’t left yet since we have Spacex, mostly insulated form the recession that happens to the rest of the us, and don’t forget how affordable it is! it’s great will probably get better business and job opportunities as time progresses :) puro 956. no matter where in the world i go it will always be in my birth certificate

Grew up in Donna, living in Chicago now, and I've traveled all over the country, and I can say from experience there's no place quite like the valley, I moved in 1998, but still try to go back every year, and to see how it's grown is amazing, I'm proud to say I'm from the RGV, and I still call this amazing place home PURO 956 ❤

I love the valley... actually I was born there in weslaco but was raised in other state. But I go there once in a while to visit family in mission or los fresnos or San Juan. I miss it man...the food...the home..

I'm proud to be from the valley it always makes me sad to hear people talk trash about your own home town I've for one have always found beauty in the rgv there really isn't any place like it the people there we are cool we like to laugh have a good time eat some elotes go to the pulga have a cook out go to matamoros o reynosa o Progresso the Hispanic latino culture there is amazing and I am proud to have been born in the 956 im proud of my raza my roots forever one day everyone will know about the 956 very soon too I've been away in California for the past 4 years and you best believe I've been telling all my latino Hispanic friends I've met here in Southern California about the 956 and surprisingly they've heard of us before thank to the internet and videos like yours gene but they think the valley sounds asome they would love to vist my friends here in cali took me in showed me there area codes there towns Los Angeles, long Beach, Santa Barbara and more I've met quite a few pepole here and you bet every day I did my best to represent mi rio grande valle ill be back home real soon to harlingen tx and I hope to only continue and do something give back to my community I love the valley and the people in it I have so much faith in it thank you gene also for loving and repping 956 please keep doing it ❤💯🙏🏼🌴 and to thoes that said if 3 generations can relate or whatever the F they said ay the rgv is chill dope humble place for real and thats what makes it the valley we may not have much but we always make do with what we got I love it puro 956 ALV cabrones 💯🌴🙏🏼❤

i lived in the valley for a long time cuh, i visited july 2019 and it has changed alot. La plaza got bigger. Constructions everywhere, ware rd gots hotels. back then you only have bus 83 and 10th, and to be honest the valley hands down has the best mexican food all over the US in my opinion. San Diego, miami, LA aint got nothing. If people only knew what delias tamales was all about. oh and to add they got fuckin top golf. Puro 956 will always be with me.

I love that you're trying to boost the valley. I think we have so much to offer the world other than cheap labor. If we worked on unity instead of individualism and stop electing corrupt politicians we would see a change. I myself I was born and raised in the Valley and to me personally I could care less of what people think about the 956 if you aint from the valley you aint got no reason to speak somos guerreros we defend our area code to da fullest I grew up in a section 8 started gang banging at the age of 13 la villa verde is the name of the gang but today I'm a father of 4 beautiful kids I have a beautiful queen and I wouldn't change that for anything I always go to the valley to visit my Familia and always hesitate to leave when it's time to go back home ..in H-TOWN ..pero yo sigo SIENDO el Mismo PURO PINCHE 956 ALV..
