There is a message blocking the darksign right away and you have to wait a second to do it and i guess its not fast enough. Is it still possible?

Very late, but you'd need the purple cowards crystal to do this, and you can only get that after killing Artorias (the boss of this area).

i know i'm late but is it possible to use this to escape the painted world of ariamis or do you need to be in the dlc? i am stuck there with my 600+ hours character due to moan%

No because the wrong warp is dependent on which bonfire is your current one and your bonfire is automatically the painted world one when you enter, so the wrong warp would just bring you at the start of the painted world. If you're on PC and really care about recovering your character you could use gadget to do that. It's cheats but there are no risk of bans, speedrunners use it all the time. github.com/JKAnderson/DS-Gadget

I have also tried everything I could with the save editor but that didn't work out either, the main problem though is that i can't really get the swap glitch to work, i can trigger it quite reliably with the black crystal, the purple one however doesn't seem to activate at all, for some reason

yes there is. what system you using? Look up the force quit speedrun category. the manipulation uses force quitting to kiln skip.

There is a way easier way of duping boss souls in normal Dark souls... and a, still easier, way to dupe boss souls in the remastered version. Most of my pvp characters have been leveled up to 120 by duping boss souls while not having completed Duke's archives (unless it was a sorcerer build), tomb of giants or the bed of chaos (unless I wanted to farm for red titanite for chaos weapons). I do go into the DLC and get to the township and sometimes also complete Manus (depending on if I want to host battles on that character or not, even though to be honest I should not care as the duping glitch I use can also dupe firekeeper souls so humanity is infinite...). if you check youtube for just 10 seconds, you'll find the way to do it.

@@CapitaineToinon Thank you for your reply, I figured it out, actually what caused it was that I used the darksign too late, the animation teleport animation didn't fully happen and instead it teleported me to the gazebo. To anyone having my problem, just be faster with the darksign

to add to what capitaineToinon said. Just make sure your last bonfire is the lordvessel altar, and then also use dark sign immediately once the item swap happened.

This allows you to go into kiln as soon as you place the lordvessel. If he goes back to the stairs after doing the glitch, the door will be closed.

Yes, lord souls have nothing to do with the glitch. You could even do that wrong warp if the Kiln door was already opened if you wished.

De ce que j’ai compris, l’utilisation du cristal fait croire au jeu que tu te positionnes à la sortie de l’arène de stoïcisme alors que tu est, disons 100m au nord (fausses valeures). Alors, quand il utilise le dark sign, il va le faire revenir au bonfire a partir de ces données et va le tp 100m au nord du bonfire, dans le kiln

I slide down the hill over and over no matter where I go off the ledge but I can do this is town, having a proper attempt every 20x is ridiculous and I can't find an answer; killing Artorias is faster than this unless you know HOW or WHERE exactly to walk off the edge. I think the easiest way imo, warping to firelink shrine from the lordvessel. The second you see firelink shrine exit the game and start the game up and you will be in the kiln.
