Purple Power Concentrated Industrial Cleaner Degreaser!!!

I spray the outside of $100,000 cars, and up, with it all day long mixed 50/50. Bugs and shit that the wheels throw down the side of the car are no match. NEVER damaged a car. Been detailing for 3 decades. IN FLORIDA! Spray and pressure wash. The key is not only dilution but pressure washing it off before it sits too long. Temperature is also a factor. Never spray on hot car. Find shade or cover. If you can't then dilute more and hit it twice. For car shampoo mix 10 to 1 and add a squirt of DAWN.

Yes... dilute 10:1 ... 5:1 at most. Iam testing the strength on my auction cars. So iam not worried about damage. Just testing power. Yes ... out in the real word the product should be carefully diluted.

Can Purple Power be used on Stainless Steel and Aluminum? Do not use Purple Power on Stainless Steel or Aluminum as it could leave white streaks or a hazy film. If accidentally used on Stainless Steel or Aluminum and you have this residue, try buffing with a Metal Polish, such as Wenols or Mothers Metal Polish to restore finish.

Apex Detail so it’s hard to say what it did and didn’t do. There are 2 bleach streaks on the metal that holds the main jet. There are white salt looking beads on some of the metal, which I’m pretty sure is corrosion. The corrosion could have been caused by the gas or the purple power.

10:1 means ten parts water to one part product. Say you have a 20oz sprayer. You put in your 20oz of water and then 2oz of Purple Power.

Remember that leather seats come with a vinyl layer on top, don't go full strength and dry off well and should be fine. Use "leather" conditioner to give it back some smoothness

Homeline wool wash. $1 at dollar stores.it works very well and doesn't damage the leather. Check out dallas detailing channel, he did a video on it.

HMMM...Use the Clean and fresh. They now have a Febreeze Tide Iam going to try. Ariel should work...you just have to work out the ratio's as Iam not familiar with that detergent. Yeah Rapid Remover is a bit cheaper here!!!

Hi Brian, I bought a used Subaru recently. The dash had something used on it that left a sticky, gummy coating that dust, fibers and hair stick to. I tried a strong cleaning type vinegar on it with a tiny bit of Dawn dish soap added, and a lot of elbow grease, that did nothing to remove the tackiness. What would you recommend I use to clean it? thanks!

There is a product called cooking oil. It works great on removing gum. But if you’re wanting to spend some money, there is another product called Lickity Split. It is a Kirby home care product.

In KZbin videos, I noticed people frequently cough when using it. It also has a lot more reports of damage than other cleaners. I'd much rather use Spray Nine or Super Clean as they work just as well and are safer. Simple Green if you want ultra safe but it's not as effective.

Just know this is mostly potassium hydroxide [lye] and if left on aluminum in a concentrate will etch or eat into it. Not a bad thing, just don't spray it on straight and forget about it.

The reason I watched this video was to see what this Degreaser CAN be used on. I bought it cheap at the auto store at giveaway prices. The label tell what NOT to use it on; exterior car, painted surfaces, glass or WHEELS. And this video shows him using it on a wheel. I’m guessing it is an interior car cleaner- carpets, seats, plastic and wheels if they are coated with a clear plastic coating, maybe? One thing for sure is whoever designed the label for PURPLE POWER needs to be fired.

The worst thing for the man can do is washing the engine, collected some moisture and make some solder join bad, causing intermittent fault and very hard to find ! After all why do you want to wash engine any way ? You are not driving the car with the hood open any how.
