Just done a two step Correction on the wife's 9 year old Kia rio, 134000ks on the clock and never polished before. I used carpro clearcut with meg's microfiber and LC flat orange pads for the heavy stuff. Second step, I used sonax perfect finish on LC flat white pads. Sonax perfect finish, is absolutely fantastic, cleared up everything after carpro clearcut, which was dusting quite a bit. Thanks to you Brian, for the videos you have done, which drive me on to do my first correction. Thankyou Sir.....

Hi Brian, on another detailer channel I watch from time to time he recommends on using an iron remover instead of a clay bar to remove any contaminated area. The reason he recommends it, is because, you could mar the clearcoat or the finish of the surface. He explained you want to minimize as much contact as you can to the surface to avoid swirls.

I always made my own cleaners back in my detail days. The base of design was always wesley’s white wall cleaner. Yes u had to be carful but we really didn’t have a lot to choose from 20 years ago. All these new products r getting me exited lol

Give P&S wheel cleaner a shot. Cleans wheels and tires very well. Fender wells too. The biggest bonus is the anti corrosion inhibitors. Spray on your rotors prior to finding and the won’t rust!

Hey Brian, was looking through your videos and noticed one from 7/28/18 where you went through a detail prep with Iron X snow foam, non-acid cleaner, carpro reset, etc... Does this video and advice trump that one? Would appreciate your guidance. Keep up the great videos!!

I've yet to see a review of Simoniz original car wax (which is very similar to Johnson paste wax). A good furniture paste wax has the longest durability but is a lot of work to remove (small sections only). My dad used to put it on his car and my girlfriends used to laugh because the would slide off the car.

Do a full detail with the cheapest wal mart / auto zone products available and compare to a standard product detail. Just an idea. I think it would be interesting for those on a budget.

This is awesome, thanks Brian! 👍👌✌ I'd like to know what makes you choose that expensive Luster clay lube over simply using a rinseless concentrate with distilled water? $21.99 for a little 16oz bottle, along with the large amount of liquid needed to clay heavily contaminated vehicles as safely as possible would be exponentially more expensive compared to the $1 or so cost of half an ounce of a rinseless and distilled water and no worries about using it heavily because its inexpensive. Couldn't you lower the dilution ratio if extra lubrication is desired when using it to clay? Won't any potential minor scratching induced be quickly removed with the follow-up polish anyway?

Hello Brian, I love all your videos. I learned a lot from you sir. Thank you for all your time you put in to making these videos. I know carpro reset is you #1 car shampoo, but have you tried meguiar's hyper wash? I've been using carpro reset after watching your video long time ago, but I now want to go with a cheaper alternative if its out there. If you have tired the hyper wash, can you tell me how is the cleaning power compare to the reset? doest is rinse off easily? Can you compare these two please? Thank you.

Great video as always Brian! When you are talking about your iron remover, I am curious if you can explain a little more in depth on this. My thought process was to use an iron remover first, then move on to clay, then polish (if needed) then an ipa spray down. You mention basically claying, then ipa spray, then iron remover. I am just curious if the iron remover is still working, how do you know the vehicle doesn’t need to be clayed again in certain areas or if the iron remover doesn’t get everything? I always thought do to iron removal first to help the clay not have as many contaminates to pick up.
@apexdetail855 жыл бұрын
I Clay after as well. I show that in the video detailin the Grey Audi. The iron remover is most effective when there is nothing in between the chemical and surface.

@@apexdetail85 hey Brian, love your channel bro. I learned a lot here. My question is I have duplicolor wax and grease remover (body solvent?). Should I use the duplicolor after a wash to remove any wax or traffic film, then clay, then iron remover? Then polish and wax?

I wonder how can you make a profit? i mean all those products you use on the cars are expensive, you have utility bills and even employee costs. So you will have to charge considerable amounts to the customers in order to break even? I dont see how you make it work there, and i can make this work over here in NL??
@steph59275 жыл бұрын
Each one of those products will do multiple vehicles, especially the one's you dilute. It's a lot of money up front, but you make you're money back in no time, plus you can start with a lot less products and can still do a full detail. If its for your business you can claim as expenses. Double win!!!
@Piglet62565 жыл бұрын
Dont know why you answer to a comment thats not intended for you? Sure you mean well. But it was serious question since im busy with my Business plan to start myself. I need to know if I can make it work in NL. So example: Customer asks you to detail their car. They want an inside/outside clean. which you charge lets say $100 for. If you use like $50 on liquids and towels etc. you got $50 profit left, you spent water, electricity etc etc and you have lots of other expenses aswell daily/monthly/yearly how can you live from this or keep your business alive. you need to do loads a cars and even then you dont make much profit in the end
