Absolutely gorgeous. I have green eyes and I love purple eyeshadow but you really created a very refined look even though you were using such a dramatic colours as purple with a red lip. Thank you for posting this.

One of the ( many) things I enjoy about your videos..is that you are always very clear about what you are using...and why..ie..the choice of blusher. These things are very helpful indeed. i think my absolute favorite thing about you is you film the entire way through the tutorial. a lot of makeup artists cut away when blending, or applying more things but you stay all the way through so we learn so many techniques! i think you're absolutely fabulous and a true insperation to makeup.

@LeCherrySodaa like you said ... sponges are great for packing on the colour more intensely and brushes are great for blending... they are both good in their own way so keep using the sponges if you like the effect they give x

That is a fantastic look! Never thought a red could make it look so elegant, awesome that you used the surreal violet set instead of the much talked blue dahlia. I reckon with a nude lip it would look a bit more edgy, more rock, this was a revelation!

Looove the way you chose a sheer red lip with the smokey purple eye (which I adore). The obvious lip would have been beige-y but the red with the rose cheek was beautiful and way more edgey for Autumn/Winter. Thanks Lisa, will be trying this look!!!!!

@evageline01 some must have been left sitting on the surface. I find with HD powder that you almost have to flick it all off as youre applying (its hard to explain what I mean!) ...you cant leave any on the surface...so buffing in, as you often do with powder, is not an option. I will try to use it in another tutorial x

Never in a million years would I have put a red lip with purple eyes but wow, it works so well! Also, your eyes normally look brown but the purple makes them look green, beautiful! I've similar colouring to you so I shall be trying this out xxx!

It is only through this video I notice that Lisa has hazel eyes! The purple really brings out the green and yellow tonality of her irises. Mine are straight brown, sigh. But this look is so lovely... I need to try it!

Your eyes really look greener with this purple smokey eye. In my opinion, the best brush for the MUFE HD Foundation is Mac 191. it s so flat that it picks very little product, so you can get a very light even application. It looked awful with the 190 on my dry skin, but 191 did a great job

I love this look! This was amazing. I actually think purple is such a nice alternative for a smokey eye, particularly for fair-skinned types like myself, on whom blacks and greys can sometimes look a bit harsh (although my eyes are quite dark and brown.) This is gorgeous. A bit glamour goth, I think. And I love the red lips! I just voted! I hope you win, you're the best.
