5:44 You can, in fact, eat dandelion. I don't know if you'd want to eat it in the puffball state, but you can eat at least the leaves and roots. Not sure about the flowers when they're still yellow, and the stems have that weird goop in them. Also, dandelion is a diuretic, so be careful of that.

The milky goop in the stems is poisonous so don't consume that, the yellow flowers when dried can be made into tea. The leaves into salad. Dumb me as a child ate the puffed up ones before, nothing happened.

When I see Ball Guy, I think of Tom Fawkes playthrough where he voices him like he's just barely understandable underneath that mask. Just imagine how hard it is to be Ball Guy wearing that giant bal mask what seems like for 24/7 as at no point have I ever seen him change shifts with anyone. Just sweating, dehydrated, never taking any breaks. I mean the commitment of this man is insane. Furthermore, given how he always seems to know who you are every time you go to a new gym, he's literally split his consciousness between multiple Ball Guy's or he can duplicate! I mean he's the most powerful NPC I know to come from Pokemon without owning a pokemon. That's is very impressive no matter how you slice it. How could you not like the friendly neighborhood Ball Guy?

I had an Alolan Meowth on my team in Moon and it was honestly really good. Dark is barely weak to anything (it's only weak to Fighting, Bug, and Fairy) and once it became Persian it got Thick Fat as an ability (which halves the damage from physical moves, which compensates for the Fighting weakness) and learned Power Gem (which helps with Bug types). I even used it to capture Necrozma because it's immune to Psychic but wouldn't accidentally OHKO it due to Necrozma's ability (which makes it take less damage from super effective moves). This led to me using Dark types in this game too. It was so satisfying to have my pure Dark Nickit/Thievul one-shot Bede's all-psychic team every time we met in the main story, knowing he could basically do nothing to me. (He switches to Fairy type later though).

I did have a similar thing in Pokemon Sword. I love Duskull- a lot. I really wanted one on my team, but every time I battled one, it said it was too strong... I didn't know the Pokemon from the ! encounters were lower level there too... So I ended up waltzing into Motostoke with a Rillaboom. I just kept leveling it up going "How the hell are these Duskulls still too strong to catch?!" When I finally got given my League Card, I felt stupid. Been playing since the original Ruby.

FYI Dandelions are in fact edible the leaves are eaten in salads, can be sauteed, made into pesto, or basically anything you can use spinach for the flowers are made into wine or baked into cookies or made into jelly or syrup the buds can be battered and fried and the roots can be brewed into tea or roasted like a root vegitable

I can confirm the whole bit about coincidences....though in my own case it was rather annoying in Violet. I was doing Surprise Trades myself, I believe I was trading away a newly hatched Pokemon (most likely a Ralts, as that was the first Pokemon I tried to unsuccessfully hatch as a Shiny early in the game) that I didn't want, and I got a Hoppip for it. I then immediately traded away that Hoppip only to get *ANOTHER* Hoppip, and when I traded that one away? Yep, you guessed it. *ANOTHER* Hoppip. I was *not* amused. Fourth time though I actually got something decent enough that I decided to keep it.
