When a 45 year old MAN gets a "punishment" like that, it makes the 21-25 year olds think it's not that big a deal, as far as their future with the club. Not to mention only helping us get to playoffs once in 4 years to begin with. WR's just don't move the needle where it matters. Nobody can name the last WR that made a difference for a team in a playoff game or on a playoff run. That money would've been better spent on the IOL and IDL, positions that do move the needle where it matters especially in January. But hey, we'll get to watch another WR break records while we compete for the 7th seed every other year. Exciting stuff.

I want to share a memory. I was 21 years old. Home from leave from the Army. Went out with my two brothers and their girlfriends. The bar was in a rural area. We left at closing time. Got back to town. It was like 3:30 am. I tried to convince my one brother to stay at my parents house, that night. He was bond and determined to drive to the farm, where he lived. I was woken up by my father, that morning. He passed out and rolled the pickup, he was driving. It rolled on top his girlfriend and killed her. I swore off, drinking since.
