I know the throws were bad, but holy crap, JJ and Addison need to show some damn effort in either breaking it up, tackling and/or trying to force a fumble. The INT that was called back: Nailor HAULED ASS and forced a fumble that Vikings recovered. If the QB makes a bad throw, the play AIN’T OVER. I love the effort that Nailor plays with. Remember, JJ probably doesn’t score on that 97 yd vs 49ers if Nailor doesn’t run down to make that last block. FEED #83

People. The Vikes dominated in Time of Possession, yards, first downs, defense, special teams, they played a brilliant game in the “soft” part of the schedule. They just lost the turnover battle. That happens, it was unfortunate, but they WON! Goff just through 5 INTS last night do you think the lions want his head or the coaches head for that? Lay off, Darnold!

KOC does deserve some blame. He’s still the playcaller and his situation playcalling in the late stretches have been so predictable. Every coach can get some kind of praise from anyone. Just because they get praise doesn’t make them immune to criticism
@vincentthomas1967Күн бұрын
@kendrickmoua8398 are some calls suspect... of course...but every coach makes suspect calls... if they're completed, they're genius... if not... they're idiots... recall Dan Campbell's fake punt call...epic fail... no one talks about it cause they won the game... does this make him a bad coach... no... just s bad call... if you're NFL players that face you can say he's a difficult play caller to deal with...I buy that...but every coach is gonna make a suspect call here and there... like I said before... he ain't the one throwing 3 ints... are they saying get the ball to JJETTAS when he can... sure... but I'm pretty sure KOC doesn't have a problem with Sam checking down to a wide open Addison running the under route... where he probably would've scored.

I’ve been saying it for weeks- they have to clean this up so both teams are firing on all cylinders again like the beginning of the season because Atlanta and Arizona aren’t going to be cakewalks. Arizona has blown out a lot of teams this year and they’re being severely underestimated right now. I say this as a Vikings fan that’s native to Minnesota and lives in AZ. We have to get back to how we operated the first four games of the season or there is no such thing as an easy schedule. We barely won against two bad teams the last week. We’re too talented to be screwing up this much. Vikings fans, I’m serious, watch tape of the Cardinals and tell me if you think we will beat them if we keep playing like this. The national media will never let us hear the end of it if we get blown out by Kirk or Kyler.

i swear our first 4-5 weeks we were moving the ball and jj was getting very few touches. then we had that week at green bay when JJ got that td despite being completely covered up. it almost felt to me like a light was switched in darnolds head that he can just throw the ball to jefferson no matter what and he can just make those catches. i am just an idiot on the internet but that has been my observation

Over 400 yards offense, dominating every stat category except INTs is such a Vikings stat line lol. The defense and special teams carried us, but it's not like the offense didn't hold on to the ball almost 3:1 as well, even if they were only scoring on special teams. Weird one for sure, but the W still counts.

My take is that we moved the ball incredibly well, Darnold was actually, hilariously knifing through the Jags defense for the most part, he had no issues getting into scoring position. We legitimately SHOULD have won like 35-7, but Darnold made 3 or 4 really sloppy plays and the Jags defense took advantage of all of them. So, yeah, the silver lining is that our offensive plays were working, we just f***ed everything up at the worst possible moments. Thank god we have probably the best defense in the NFL. If we didn't, we would have lost to Mac Jones, you know Donatell would have just given up like 350 yards to him somehow.

It's more about KOC's awful calling and "cutesie" calls at the wrong times. Goff threw 5 INT's just last night. But no one will put that on Goff. Also, why in the literal EFF is KOC putting a clearly injured Aaron Jones back out on the field. is the 1 1/2 yard up the gut to waste time something Cam or Ty can't do??? KOC needs to start coaching like he actually might make the playoffs.

Hopefully Sam doesn't read comments or listen to these podcasts (where are the Goof insults and calls for his doofy head after a 5pick game?). Sure hes making some questionable throws, but are we asking why? The Offense runs through Jets, so we've got a Diva WR telling his QB, "just throw me the ball (Hay Keshon!). Jets is an amazing WR but we arent going to win games if Sam has to target Jets no matter what. Cousins was the senior QB and it was his offense so he dictated who got the ball. Sam has a gun. He had some nice touch on his passes in the first half the season. I doubt that he has lost his abilities. Something is telling me hes under the gun to force the ball to Jets no matter what. If Sam targets Free3 and 3rd and Hock 1/3 of the time each game, Jets will not get his 100/, but Hock and Addison will thrive and we win more games by not turning the ball over.. We got the O to go far, Sam will be fine but Jets needs to be a true leader and say, hay lets spread the ball around especially when im covered by 3 D. That Buffalo catch 2 years ago cant be the goal of every throw to Jets. SKOL Vikings. Sam we believe in you!

All the weapons on offensive - ELITE OFFENSE - the whole game was wasted once again. D# holding strong! Bo Nix, Drake Maye, and Jayden Daniels all looking prime. Maye playing at NE speaks volumes. All these teams offensive doesn't even compare to the weapons Vikes have! So right about ARON anyone else having PTSD - Mattison? Stop run, run, pass PLEASE!

A deep dive into what Darnold was doing during the first half of the season and what he is or isn’t doing now would be interesting. Is it really just always defaulting to Jets, or is it something else? Given the production against the Jags, it doesn’t seem like play-calling is the culprit.
