I was so ultra-lucky once - but soooo frustrated too! During one of Gemini Brett's very early offerings, years ago, he read my chart! For some reason (don't recall why...) I spoke to him over my landline phone. The line was TERRIBLE - and I only caught about every 3rd sentence he said. AWWWWK!!

I've heard many spiritual teachers say your life's purpose isn't what you do for a living it's much bigger a concept than that. More general, your purpose could be 'to lift people up' or 'to shine a light on the darkness so that it can transform' or simply to 'inspire'. Just some examples and these are things which aren't dependent on what your doing for a job, you can bring this into every moment and place in your life. In the grocery store, walking down the street all the mundane and every day places.

Life is not either A or B. One's Purpose and Career are not mutually exclusive. You can choose both if you can integrate them and still live an authentic life. I have seen plenty people without knowing astrology done this successfully (though not 100% perfectly). Astrology can be help people to discover themselves better, to know what they want and find right life paths faster. My current astrology knowledge is just sufficient enough to understand myself and discern what works and not works for me. I like how Gemini Brett talked about the luminaries (Moon reflecting the light of the Sun) and described the highest point in the chart. ❤❤ The UK astrologer Carole Taylor also mentioned the highest point in a podcast. She uses the Equal House system which shows this point clearly. I have two personal planets in the 10th house (Placidus): one is closer to the MC and the other closer to the highest point of the chart. They both are playing significant roles in my life and career. Like Gemini Brett, I have Gemini Rising and Moon with MC in Aquarius 🥰

Super presentation, Gemini Brett. Learned quite a bit. You're a great double Gemini teacher with the seriousness of that Scorpio sun. I'm 69 so my career (and most of my purpose) is over with. I worked with kids as a speech-language therapist for 40 years and retired at 62 for health reasons (NN & Chiron in Cap in 6th). So, my purpose now is healing, continuing my daily hikes/snowshoes with my dogs and husband here in Glacier Park, Montana, enjoying the things I've always done (Mars in Sag in 5th) but not daily due to work/career: being physically active in nature and learning astrology as wonderful tool since 1978 after graduating with that 10th house degree. In my first month of college in 1972, in a huge sociology class, the professor asked the entire class who would like to volunteer to help his wife in her special ed class with 3rd-4th graders. I didn't put my hand up to volunteer, but my hand went up along with one other student out of hundreds there......I feel it was an/my angel (stellium in Cancer in the 12th house). That university didn't have special ed programs/degrees but did have Speech-Language Pathology, so I thought I'd do SLP with sped kids. And that's how it went. I am a Leo rising and Sun, with Mars in Sag in the 5th. Working with kids was very creative. I found using astrology really helped me with all the kids for example, never tell a Leo influenced boy what to do, but ask them and make them feel they have choice. They also love to help. For my Gemini sun/moon kids (rising wasn't always available) ALWAYS tell them what we were going to do that day (4-7 activities/tasks) and have them pick out what to do first; then give them an order to the rest of the tasks. For a Sag kid, tell them WHY they need to do this, stressing what they'll get out of it. For a Pisces kid, I needed to cool down, slow down and get into which they'd like to do and how they felt about it. So, I feel I used astrology very creatively and to their benefit. I miss that having been retired now for 7 years, and 'used my chart energies' to the fullest.

What if the rulers of both the rising and the MC are conjunct ? Im a gemini rising 25 degrees, MC is at 0 pisces and the rulers are conjunct in saggitarius. Its a mutable mess. 😂

You meant that your Mercury and Jupiter are conjunct in 7th house (Sagittarius)? If so, both planets in 7th house can "see" 1st and 10th houses. There are some tensions. 17 is opposition, 10 7 is square. Since your 10th house is Pisces and 7th house Sagittarius and both are ruled by Jupiter, the tension between them is less than 1st/7th house opposition.
