Thank you for your advice. This will be the first ever long distance road trip for my furbaby so I am gathering every bit of information from experienced cat travelers I can. If the travel litter box I bought already doesn't do the job, there's always a walmart somewhere along the way. LOL

Wow, we couldn't imagine having to travel with 4 cats! We at one time had 7 cats! We always thought we would have at least 1 cat when we started Rving but unfortunately our last cat had passed away before RV life began. Not sure if we will get more pets but this seems like a great idea for a litter box in the truck! Thanks for sharing! ~ Shion and Matthew

When we go we will probably have 3 cats and our concern is the litter box in the truck as well as placement in the RV. We are looking at the GD Reflection 337RSL so no loft etc.

It's so hard to find a spot for the litter box in the RV. In the video titled "How to set up your RV to live with cats, I show were I placed two litter boxes. In the next layout we are looking to upgrade too, we plan to remove the couch and build a cat bench. The cats would have an area to sit up top and their litter box and cat supplies would be underneath. Some people put the litter box in a small shower they don't use or transform the outdoor kitchen into a cat area and cut an access for the cats to access it from the inside of the RV.

They have travel litter boxes that zip around to close and have a handle. SO MUCH EASIER

That’s cool. Only one cat will use the litter box while traveling so this works well for use. We stop for an hour at lunch and put the cats inside the RV, this is when they call use the bathroom and eat and drink.
