another great stardew video :D my farm is...pathetically coming along.......i'm in spring 2 and STILL don't have iridium sprinklers, and am about to lose a lot of money on buying hay because I expanded too fast. I won't start over though, as I got a prismatic shard as soon as I unlocked the desert mines......I do NOT want to EVER look for one of those again.

Isn't it your first farm? I've played this game for like.. 500+ hours over the years? 😂 A tip for needing hay is growing lots of wheat. Plus... beer 🤤

@@Eggsceptional I have a TON of hay growing in summer now. I had no fucking clue that feed couldnt be grown in spring.....I figure on 5 full silos for the winter. Since I still have 1 deluxe barn and coop. I FOUND A DINO EGG...

@@Eggsceptional So I'm making beer, cheese and mayo. Thanks for those tips. Question: Why did you warn me not to drink the mayo in the mines? It gives more health than an egg....if i'm simply going for a deep-mining trip on a good luck day, IMO mayo and cheese cant be beat. I know it's "Profitable" to sell it, but what price can you put on iridium? Also: do you raise dinosaurs, and if not, why not?

@@DoctorKamino Yeah, the way to get the hay in spring 1 is either to build the silo and scythe grass, or buy it from Marnie. 5 silos is a LOT of storage. I like the big buffers because it means I don't have to pay attention as often 😅

@@DoctorKamino Oh I didn't intend to warn you against it! I was drinking my mayo. It was just the thought of sitting there chugging mayo. Gross! A tip too for cheese is that once you fully upgrade your house you can put it into casks to age it, increasing the quality :) Dinos: I have in the past, but probably won't this time. I'll probably have 1 coop with each chicken variety, a dino, duck. But just the one.. I have other plans for the rest of the farm space :D

I ended up putting my legendary fish into the fish smoker and got a ton of money for them

I was unaware of the smoker when I was doing my fish frenzy at the start of the year 😔 I always keep the unique fish

NGL, I feel pretty crushed when I don't finish the community center in year one I really like the Ginger Island content. It makes daggers viable. Well, three or four of them anyway.

For my first playthrough in a little over a year I'll take it, but I agree. Getting to Ginger Island for Winter 1 was the goal, but I think it all still worked out :)

@@jamesgrenier8856 I haven't found an Ancient Seed yet! I can't believe it! This is the first time I've EVER not had one in Y1. I'll reveal that among my top priorities are that darn Sunfish and Truffle!

@@Eggsceptional don't feel too bad about not finding one, in my first playthrough I thought the ancient seed was just another kind of garbage and tossed it. I hadn't been to the museum yet 😭😅

That's fine, Philip and I kept the chat alive 😅 I can reforge that parrot too to (hopefully) make it stronger. Monster Musk will finally make an appearance once I do that! I don't know who to marry yet. Leah is my go-to but Abigail is always fun. Then I was thinking about being gay because Mrs Egg is the only woman for me...
