I have also around 500h in this marvel of a game but i never had any encounters with foxes or other predators killin my livestock when i left the barn or coop open at night. I tend to forget that pretty much all of the time.

Another: Golden animal crackers work on fishponds you put on your farm. Easiest way to tell if it worked is the basket on the pond will turn golden. Also idea for the next completion run. Make at least one of every clothing possible.

Massive video! I loved the Graveyard Keeper video. However, the music choice and the tone of your voice make the whole video feel like an infomercial-exhausting to listen to for extended periods or as background content . Best of luck to ya.

A couple more tip I just found out. 1- You can feed your horse carrots, and it will run faster for the rest of the day. By .4 faster. 2- This is a little cheekier, but when you start a new game. If you max out the houses on your farm, each house will have the same stuff in it. That includes the starting seeds you get from Mayor Lewis. And if you choose the fishing farm. Each house will have a fish smoker in it you can take. Then just got to Robins and destroy the houses (after you take the smoker and seeds) for more space.

FYI You can have Zombie making those lower tier Tech Books at a Zombie Writing desk. All you need to provide is paper. It takes 3 paper per book. Once you unlock paper glop, paper isn't an issue anymore. I would make sure your Zombies are a high quality to make it faster. 26 skull zombies work at 65% efficiency and will produce a book in about 7 1/2 minutes. 4 zombie writing desks and you can get 100 of any tech points.
