What do you like to use in your Morning Basket? ❤️
@proverbs31cosmetics396 ай бұрын
I have A daily basket and a loop basket. Then 1 core subject a day. Like Mondays is language arts, reading and spelling. Tuesdays is math, and so on. I would love to see a video of how you plan your homeschool year.😊
@stephaniemoxley95954 ай бұрын
@@proverbs31cosmetics39 Oo, I didn't think to switch off doing core subjects (we loop everything else besides our daily AM Basket+memory work). Do you have more school days then since that takes twice as long to finish the curriculum? Or do you just slow the pace/not keep with the grade levels?

You have the best videos!!!!!! So grateful for your wisdom and insight. I’m trying to figure out how to do this with younger kiddos😅I have a preschooler and 2nd grader about to start homeschooling but also a two year old and 5 month old too. I’m not sure how I could take these amounts of time with them they are super busy and needy with the two youngers especially. Any suggestions or insight with kids so young? Trying not to feel overwhelmed at the thought of doing this haha.

Honestly Jessica, I look at other mamas and think the same thing. There are so many people doing so much more than we are, but I have to constantly remind myself that God has called me to raise MY babies, no one else's. I find my rest in Him and He gives me strength for the rest of it. ❤

Thanks, Dina! Great inspiration! Practical question:... Do you do AM Basket BEFORE core work/individual TGTB subjects? We are having the hardest time "fitting" everything in... Between our AM Basket+Memory Work and one family subject (looped), we're pretty much at lunch time already, and then to tackle individual L.A.+Math (one lesson each x three kids), that brings us to 3pm or later, and I am tanked! Way too long of a school day and/or rushed. Our curriculum and schedule looks similar to yours... Are you also schooling that late in the day? 🫠
@PursuingPeace4 ай бұрын
Hi! We start our Morning Basket at 9am and go until 10:30am. Then we do LA and Math and usually end around 1pm. We have a late lunch so I let them get snacks in between subjects. Can any of your kiddos do their LA and Math on their own? Or at least part of it?

I just love your page so much! I have a request!! Will you please please please record the whole state and capital song and make it its own video with the camera on your boy (or you) tracing the states? I would love to use that for our homeschool next year learning them!!!!! It has been the only song that I love for that and I love it all together doing the entire US in one video. ❤❤

Oh thank you for your encouragement. I just don't think I can do that since they're not my songs. But CC happy mom (linked in bio) Has them all in a playlist. She even has hands motions you can use if you'd like. They're super easy to follow. Hope this helps! ❤️

If you dont finish a math or language arts curriculum do you move on to the next grade or finish it first? Thank you!
@PursuingPeace6 ай бұрын
We finish it first so there isn't any gaps. Sometimes the beginning of the next year's curriculum is review so I'll skip some first lessons if I feel they already know it. Hope that made sense.
