Piano Phoenix made me sad... I really did almost cry seeing the character that I had bonded with in such a sad state... But I don't hate AJ as much as other people. In fact, my PW playing friends and I nicknamed each other and I chose to be Apollo. I hated what they did to the characters (seriously where was Maya) but I liked the game overall. Especially Turnabout Serenade. That case was fun.

I'm glad that you enjoyed AJ:AA! :) I have to commend you for that, there's just too many reasons why I didn't like it or Dual Destines. Like, it was nice seeing another AA game on the DS, that's for sure, but I personally think that Apollo just missed the mark for me. It was painful for me to play through a game where the main character - the link between you and the game for the last 3 entries was disbarred, and made a mockery of. If Apollo was set a hundred years in the future or something, I think it would have been less offensive, but they had to shoehorn Phoenix in; make him homeless and a laughing stock and for me, that sorta ruined it. He also never really acted like the Phoenix Wright we as players were used to. He seemed too... how do I put this... "perfect". He's the shining example to Apollo and Athena (in DD) of perfection and acts like he constantly has a stick up his ass. The only cases where I felt like the game went back to having "classic Phoenix" were the cases where you play as him. I guess it's his mentality throughout the game, you know. Apollo and Athena aren't supposed to see Phoenix's sarcastic and not-so-serious side, which I feel cripples the experience greatly. I mean, why hide it if he was sarcastic and less serious around Maya? She's another reason I dislike DD. Her character is *shining* with personality, but they decided to leave her out? Seriously? I could understand the reason she isn't in AJ, but DD has "Phoenix Wright" on the title, so a lot of us (myself included) expected to see more Phoenix Wright characters in the game. I'm glad we got Pearly, though. At least that's something. Again, I'm glad that you enjoyed Apollo Justice! At least we can both agree that PW:AA is an amazing series! :3

My personal favs are SoJ and AAI2, but AJ is pretty good and way overhated, and it's in my bottom 3 AA games.

My favorites are AJ and SOJ and before anyone decides to say nO yoU'Re wwrrrRONG, this is my opinion, thus there is no wrong
