My wife and I had this exact experience-the tragic one-a few months ago. Just two days before, our midwife had said everything looked good. We did the "drink juice and count the kicks" test and went to L&D when we felt nothing. It was too late.

Except at maternity they don’t rush you in like that or tell you to go in, they do the latter. It happened to a friend of mine. She told them she had little to no movements. Was robbed off and ended up having a still birth.
