Man I so want to do this to my 66. But your video is a little confusing. I have a 3 prong ignition switch on my 66. Little cofused on wire coming off relay to cluster? I will be using my original cluster

Will adding this fix cranking issues, idk why but sometimes I would hold the key and nothing happens for a few seconds then the car starts cranking. It turns on great on the first attempt of the day and as I drive the car through out the day the harder it gets to crank. Any tips?

If your battery is in good health then I’d recommend checking your carb if you haven’t swapped to EFI.

My 66 does this too. Not a carb issue. The POS standard brand ignition switch contact just go out quick. I'm replacing mine every 6 to 7 months

let me see if I have this, starter solenoid is pin 30, key on is 85 and 87, with ground to 86. Other neg trigger I have seen are a little different with 30 and 86 having power, 85 with ground to switch and 87 to starter solenoid. Sorry just trying to get it right. Thanks

Yeah possibly. I havent seen a product but if you had an RF remote with you that a sensor in the car could detect it would be more like a modern ignition switch.
