PUSH CROSS (Overhand Crossover)

Easily one of my favorite moves to create an advantage. With the overhand push cross, you can push the ball by your defender & run into your finish… even when starting from a standstill. Having effective attack moves is more than having a good handle… you have to be able to sell your moves.
Use your body language to get your defender leaning initially… Like using your eyes to stare opposite of where you want to go (ex: Jason Kidd Clip @ :33 sec mark). You can also “float” opposite of the direction you want to drive before you make your crossover
You can get to this move from several different “postures”, in fact, sometimes it’s better to make yourself look like a non-threat before you do it (ex: Jordan Poole in the 2nd clip). In that clip, Poole stands straight up, angled like he’s looking to pass. This makes him seem like a non-driving threat, & makes it easier for him for explode by his relaxed defender.
