“… I’m not lost in grief. I’m selfishly grieving” is such a poetic, and sincere manner to explain such a loss. He’s not seeking reason. He’s not seeking a why. He understands. But it still hurts irrespectively. My condolences Pusha.

Pusha T is a legend. He’s in the perfect position unlike any other artist in history. He has brotherly relationships with two of arguably the best producers in music history being Pharrell and Kanye. What many of artists pay millions of dollars for he’s gifted because of respect and admiration. 🏆

@UCinTckcdpZzHqGEL6vTNURw ONLY got two classic albums? Only? Nigga you know how hard it is for an album to be classic. Everybody dont get that. It's plenty of amazing rappers without a classic album. If we being honest what Jadakiss album is an undisputed classic? Papoose, Fabolous, Busta got close with When Disaster Strikes but that's arguable basically for a nigga to get two classics under his belt shouldn't be dismissed so easily.

Very insightful interview. I haven't listened to Pusha T much but, am definitely a fan now. My condolences to him and his family. I thank him for showing his vulnerability, my husband lost both of his parents with in months of one another a couple of years ago,, and he's really been struggling with their losses.

I like what Pusha said about the whole fiction vs rap thing, that he is here to entertain. The Audience has to grow and look at rap as entertainment so it doesn’t get the scrutiny that it gets compared to movies. They’re doing the same thing but “rap” can’t talks about in a bad light and movies like the “Scarface” are praised.

I think what Pharrell meant by "mixtape rapper" is the fact that a lot of Push's music doesn't have a lot of vocal melodies. That's what takes you to the stratosphere. You don't have to change the content cuz if u look at the biggest records coming out of hip hop rn, they're all about violence and drugs
