@Molly Pocrass I don't think she did it for many years. But she was the first Glinda and probably a big part of the success of that musical. Apart from both of them being amazing singers, it was also a cool visual having her play opposite Indina Menzel, who is about two heads taller than her.

Pushing Daisies was truly original. It was quirky, fun, spooky, romantic and enchanting. Although it is sad that they cancelled such a wonderful show, I still think there is a bright side. Pushing Daisies never got old. We will never have to look back at cliche scripts written out of desperation, or watch actors leave over time. There will never be a terrible 8th season to lament. It will be remembered as a gem that was cancelled before its time, and that is rare in our shallow media culture.

i want this show back!!! i want it so bad. Its the most lovingly produced insightful slice of life. ever the attention to detail well mind blowing. what other words could i use? ...unlike real life the unsaid gets to be said...or at least explained. every episode is just incredible in a way i lack the mental facilities to express even to lowest standard of satisfaction. its perfect in every way. no wonder it was cancelled. like everything beautiful in this world we can't wait to kill it!.

Dead Like Me is/was an MGM production and originally on SHO. It was a Bryan Fuller masterpiece! His other show dealing with death is/was Pushing Daisies..ABC. Now..this makes two of THE BEST shows ever..discontinued by the networks! Both shows are quirky..original..funny & intelligent. Well thought and produced until the powers that be made their decisions. Not the preferred crime or reality show..the masses who responded to Nielson TV ratings sealed both show's fate. A big dissapointment!

This is from the 2nd episode, in the UK ITV skipped it and so viewers missed out on.....Charlotte can speak Japanese and other languages Emerson Cod went to art college and loves to knit (he keeps the money they make from their investigations in socks he has knit) Olive Snook sings to show her emotions ( she sings almost all of "Hopelessly Devoted To You" in this episode) which we then see her doing in the 3rd episode.

thats very true! It just seems all of her characters are like that. My opinion means nothing tho she's the one on broadway and in movies and in TV. Pushing Dasies is one of my favorite shows on tv now tho. it is so origional and funny. I love cheno and she is hilarious in this show! So i don't want this to come across as me not liking her I LOVE HER. I am also 4'11', so i look at her a short person who is sucessful and tallented at the same time!

I love PD. It's the best show ever to involve musical numbers, and the shows own interpretations are still as good or even better than the original!!! I love Olive her voice is golden, my fav part is when Olive and Manuel dance. It all makes for great viewing, sadly though Ned doesn't view Olive the way she does Ned. :(

I really miss the show!! I bought the dvds but its not the same. It´s a shame they cut the story like that. @odiscordia619 did you notice there´s a mistake... she lifts the chair on the table, an a minute later the chair is once again on the floor and she sits!!!

i am so so sooo sooooo upset that i started watching this show late. Its amazing :/ I wish it was still on the air. why would they cancel such a great show? it baffles me. This was so original and creative, it was funny, had a good plot line and the actors were terrific! im pissed. I hate ABC.

It's funny... whenever a new show airs on ABC now I get incredibly grumpy. My family had the hardest time trying to convince me to watch anything on ABC. As my Brother put it, "Carrie will forever hate ABC for cancelling Pushing Daisies." Damn straight. :-p

AND...... Ned shows Charlotte the glass divider he has created in his car between them, which has a glove in it, to allow them to hold hands. He got this idea from the car factory they had been investigating earlier. Thankfully RTE in Ireland are showing it too and have not skipped any episodes

Actually Jim Dale is only the voice of Harry Potter in the USA, in other countries particularly the UK it's Stephen Fry who does the voice for the books and I believe Stephen Fry was asked for by J K Rowling (although I could be wrong on this last point)

They had to end the season earlier than planned because of writers strike. They tied up as many loose ends as possible while still leaving us with a cliffhanger. Episode 9 "Corpsicle", is the last episode of the season.

I've only seen two episodes so far, because obviously, it took a longer time for the serial to release in Germany, but I loved that one! =) I feel pretty sorry for Olive...so great she's played by Kristin Chenoweth, so now, I always have to think about Glinda!^^
