I do this with my 2004 Passat 1.8T 4motion with 5 speed manual whenever I get the chance. I love my car. All stock with only 117K miles. Just did my 120K service early. Getting ready to change my diff fluids in the next week.

Great video! When you go through that much mud/water, could you damage your car with it getting underneath and inside the car like that? How do you clean it properly after that type of use? Also what model All track is this? it is so sick!

Thank you! It’s a 2019 Alltrack S, and as long as you don’t get too deep underwater you’ll be okay. I have a small pressure washer with an attachment that allows you to roll the jet under the car to clean most of the stuff off, but you’ll still have a lot of dirt in hard to reach places

@@BrendonWagner Cool, good to know. In my area in aus, there is a "7.5 MY19.5 Alltrack 132TSI Wagon 5dr DSG 6sp 4MOTION 1.8T". Do you know if this is the same one to your regions model?

@@teejmd91 seems like it's the same or very similar to the US market one, we only had the 1.8TSI with a 6 speed DSG or manual here.

I got high centered two years ago and destroyed an axle. Ball bearings and oil were falling out of the axle boot in the mud. Miserable week getting it off the trail I was trespassing on and the $800 repair. Afraid to do this anymore.

That’s sorta how I’m feeling, I haven’t really taken it out since I went off-roading in this video. I tore the downpipe off the hanger (easy fix) and put a small hole in a plastic piece under the drivers door, so now I’m going down the is38 and lowered route

1.8 TSI and 6speed manual, the market for these cars is $20,000-$35,000 depending on the year and miles

Of course! The wheels are 17x7.5 et35 Sparco Dakars, with 225/55/17 Falken Wildpeak A/T tires. I don’t have any lift on the car, stock suspension

Its a slightly lifted wagon not a land cruiser with a 6" lift so obviously there is limitations. Use some common sense...

@@FueRent it's obviously not a real 4x4 offroader like a land cruiser or jeep, however it has a pretty decent advantage over most average cars. It looks less severe on camera but still not an easy trail. There's not many off-roading places near me and I'm not going to push it until it breaks
