Pushing the mini lathe limits with parting 304 stainless steel with proxxon

I finally found a local metal seller and bought a 15 mm stainless steel bar. But seller didnt wanted to make it smaller. So ı can do it by myself with my mini lathe. Its a very difficult job for this machine . I need to search for finding techniques for parting. I found one.

Finally you got it! yeah the tip of the cutting tool must be below the center line, I also heard that "cutting in reverse" trick somewhere the net.

ı tryed everything low lubricant much lubricant each way cutting is slow :)
