Good video! Love the rocket! I saw a first generation rocket in the summer with 105k miles on it! Don’t know of any with more miles then that? My favourite is the chrome as well 👍

He was on a much older rocket, not one of the new one. You can max out a bike on here legally, the new rockets are just restricted to this out of the factory 😊

It's probably the case, that everthing on wheels that goes over 145mph is required to have built-in wings, in order to take-off before it runs out of road. But if he had of taken off, then we would of had Pie in the Sky... haha !! Pity these Rockets were not around in my younger days, i'd of seriously thought about owning one, especially in that colour scheme that Mike was allocated. I've always had a soft spot for muscle machines. I felt a bit sorry for you Kate that you couldn't have experienced the same as Mike did..., i'm sure you would have been screaming and quacking all over the video, unlike Mike, who didn't show a lot of excitment, particulary in his voice. Reckon he was still dreaming of his last green laneing ride out... boy, that was fun! If these bikes really are limited, then what's the sense of doing an event like this on a straight runway instead of on a circuit? Anyway, I had fun, thx.

11:19 min: I used to be very think very highly of Kat’s until I fitted one to my Project Hawk (Yes I’m a goody two shoes). OK, the bike didn’t run properly at the time but that was no reason to make the Kat produce so much heat it almost set its surroundings on fire. So note to myself: Kat’s only work on lean burning engines. Turbo’s actually use such excess energy to improve efficiency. So what about making them mandatory? Vrooooom! 😂

I like the Rockets concept and looks but prefer light and efficient bikes. For me designing a great looking streamlined bike is an art. No reason to complain about a limited top speed if you’re driving a feet forward, chrome brick. If the electronic limitation is on power and not on speed a lightened and faired one would beat all of them. Let’s face it: Fun as it might be riding such bikes is like being a Dinosaur wondering what that new bright star is doing in the sky. Soon you’ll find out. 😁

Not sure the money for this new “storm” is justified. Other than different color schemes it’s more cost effective to buy a 2020-23 and just have the ecu flashed and it makes more than the new storm. Basically same bike different colors lol
