@@caseyblankenship987 with the significantly lower development costs, it doesn’t need to sell 10mil+ copies to be profitable. Probably closer to a million or so will do it. And this game will achieve that, IMO.

If it's anything like Playroom, then yes, it is most definitely worth buying. Hell, Playroom was free with the PS5 and I'd still be willing to pay for it, it was that good 😊

This game is absolutely hands down the best platformer I have ever played, and I started gaming in 1986 with the Nes and Master System. This has been one AMAZING Christmas! I am currently playing Astro Bot on the PS5 and Stalker 2 for the Series X. As a bonus, I can stream both to our Steam Deck when I want to play on the go. The gaming industry has become a rather bleak place. However, with incredible titles like Astro Bot and Stalker 2 things are really looking up. May gaming become the beacon of freedom and passion it once was for the players.

Everyone is going on about how good this game is but I think it would be even better if it had a VR option as well ? How cool would that be - in fact i think they really let psvr2 owners down who were really looking for an astrobot 2 sequel by not allowing a VR option for this game especially when astrobot rescue was a number one selling game on the PSVR 1 and really helped to sell the headset and especially when they are now struggling to sell the PSVR2 having to lower the price of the price of the headset recently and losing revenue to improve sales - it’s definitely a disservice to us and that was a silly marketing strategy for this game 😢 . Am just hoping they eventually wise up and produce a vr patch otherwise for me it would be like going back in time playing this on flatscreen and doesn’t make it any different or better than playing the vast amount of other platform ones out there like crash bandicoot or sonic .

Astrobot has had 5 games now. 2 are VR. The series is designed to demo new hardware. This is the 2nd to demo the sense controller. With the expected sales of this vs VR, you are unlikely to see Sony do a another VR Astrobot.
