The answer is yes. Ps5 here…i’m playing with UHD Resolution at 120fps. Smooth as butter 😋 ..even with High Sensitivity Controller Settings 👍

It’s pretty rapey playing solo I’m not even gonna lie to you boss man, pretty much next to impossible unless you’re like ridiculous at the game but seeing as I’m assuming you’re brand new that’s likely not going to be the case for you but you can join open crews of random players

So you'll need friends to play this game then.... not gonna be on my to-buy list. I work full-time my buddies are full time employed aswell and even in the weekend it's not gonna be possible. I would love it if it was single player or something.

You can easily play this game solo if you please, I suggest a sloop if you want to do so. There's a campaign mode, a safer seas mode with just your crew and pve (less dangers but with a side of less rewards), and the regular mode with a max of 6 ships of 1-4 players (depending on the ship) and ofc the pvp/pve that comes with the mode.

I will say, however, that the game has its issues such as any other game but of course, 'specially given it's in its fair stages of this platform's release, that's to be expected. I have 3k hours on sot, most of them being solo. It is a hard but exciting life, but it is definitely doable. I've gone from running like a mouse to sinking bigger ships in 1v4: don't give up, rack up experience and enjoy the seas!

I just got it! I figured it out by myself but reading map probably hardest part. If u have time with that you won’t like game. I actually like game. I also found one of the rarest chests. But I didn’t go to outpost cause I was getting more loot. My ship was sunk loot was gone.🤣 a slip and fall and I played a duo and I found same chest slipped off the boat and teammate left. So keep chest you find super close! 10/10

You can't do pirate legend voyages though until you rank up those factions. So there is a little bit of a level difference between consoles. Xbox/PC players can earn more loot because of this. Give it a couple months and a lot of people will be pirate legend on ps5.

This idea that the real progression reward is the cosmetics is an odd thing to applaud considering it's in first person perspective... who gives a shit if you can't see it. Looks fun for a couple of hours but I'll be passing. Not enough content there to keep me occupied and the combat looks extremely rough.

My brother had the same problem go into your settings somewhere in storage or data and delete the sea of thieves data. when you go back in you’ll be prompted to log in again and lost no progress

SoT doesn't respect the busy customers time. If you only have a short window to game each night, avoid this game. Griefers, poor anti-cheat protection, waste you and your friends time. You guys go get treasure, do missions, only to have all the time you spent wasted by some asshole. Another "service" game. Avoid

Getting sunk and losing your treasure isnt greifing, its literally part of the game. A pure game mechanic. Its what puts the risk into the game. The loot you collect is NOT YOURS until you have sold it at an outpost. The point of the game is to collect treasure at the risk of having it taken. Theres and entire faction in the game called Reapers Bones where that is literally the entire reason and requrement for achievements is to STEAL OTHER PEOPLES LOOT. If youre scared you can always go to Safer Seas, the weenie hut junior gamemode in Sea of Thieves.

@ConnorGaughan-do9hg bugs that have been here since like s6 have no timeline on being fixed, ladder launching is a good example of that. The game performs very poorly and just crashes alot. Can't buy supplies from the merchants so you'd have to switch servers until it works. Honestly it feels like I'm back in 2015 playing ark survival again. Game feels as broken as 2015 ark.

The objective is to just have fun and be a pirate, it’s sad that the gaming community has devolved into a state where people have to have a reason to have fun, and no one paying him to say the game is good it’s just an objectively good game
