@@jamesfretwell1511 Dude, it's a Sony exclusive. For around a decade now the template is as by-the-numbers and lame as an Assassin's Creed game. Why invest time in such a bland game? An interesting story premise does not keep the gameplay from being monotonous. I own the sequel, too, and I don't care to play it. Sony just bolted in on to my PS5, hence the "increased sales." Bland experiences interest me less and less with age. These games need to do something unique to be memorable.

It’s important to note the titles, even when checkerboard, TARGET 4K, and mostly run a good bit lower. The 60 FPS however is almost a no drop lock on all titles.

@@daniil3815 me personally I recommend an LG OLED CX or newer with HDMI 2.1 ports. That HDMI spec is important when most games get to 4K at 120 FPS. As far as a computer monitor, anything with a decent panel and HDMI 2.1 for a PS5.

I was able to finally procure a PS5 5 days ago. So far I've only been playing the director's cut on Ghosts of Tsumima but I had just recently finished the game on my PS4 so I noticed a huge difference instantly going from 1080p to 4K on my beautiful Oled TV. I've been extremely impressed with the PS5 so far and it's worth every penny. I have Days Gone installed for my next gameplay as I've been itching to play through that game again. After that I'll probably zip through The Last of Us 2 and then definitely Horizon Zero Dawn as that is still one of my favorite PS4 games to date and as sexy as it looked on PS4 in 1080p, I absolutely cannot wait to experience it in 4K on the PS5. Super excited to play one of my favorite all-time PS4 games on the PS5. Watch Dogs Legion should be arriving in the mail tomorrow but that will be my first play-through of that game. I'll probably go back and play other game titles on my PS5 such as all of the Uncharted series and releases and one of my all-time favorite movies turned video games, Mad Max. An amazing Open World Post Apocalyptic game that is hardly ever mentioned sadly but is due a little attention.

Horizon zero dawn already ran at 2160p checkerboard on the ps4 Pro. The only difference is the frame rate. Not sure what you meant when you said what you said about the resolution it didn't make any sense to me hence the comment

The Last of Us Part II: literally right before he mentions animations, i say outloud, "well they have the best animations" ... every single studio needs to learn from how they changed animations with this game, using small pieces of full animations and letting the AI batch them together for each specific situation, after playing this game, most other games are ruined... i can now spot the transition in the animations in other games when vaulting over obstacles or when sprinting... also i love that by default she moves backwards instead of turning around and running towards the screen

I completely disagree about the ff7 integrade ps5 version. I replayed it in hard mode and it felt like a massive graphical upgrade. They did way more than just up the framerate. Yes the hub area is still a low budget yakuza spinoff but most of the story events are a huge upgrade.

So your wrong about a few things, metro Exodus is not native 4k more like 1200p ish. Sekiro is not checkerboard 4k it's CB 1800p and just so you know with horizon 2160p is the same as 4k lol there the same resolution

Checkerboard 4k isn't the same as native 4k! The 2160p bit is accurate which is why Sony tried to make red dead 2 look like it was native 4k like the xbox one x red dead 2 was even though is was 1920 x 2160p which was checkerboard upscaled to full 4k

The improvements will be minimal unless they do a total remaster. Installed on the ps5 harddrive, the load times are cut almost 80%. with 60 frames and 4k its great.

It would be good to see some ps5 games that don't play on ps4.. Every console in history has given the gamer a new experience with every new generation on launch.. I have no idea why everyone is scrambling to get a ps5 as it has no game that are new, even the upcoming ones are on ps4! this generation of consoles have been launched with no next gen experience at all, the games are old, just look and run a tad better.. No changes to gameplay so you're not missing out by not having a next gen console now.. These consoles are powerful, really powerful and should be getting used to make new types of games with scales and gameplay we've never seen, also can't believe the amount of folk who aren't talking about this!

I would agree w you if it wasnt for the loading times and better everything lol. Even San Andreas looks crystal clear and amazing on ps5. Games that had long loading screens now take maybe 2 seconds to load which completely changes games like Elden Ring, Borderlands, anything where you grind levels, farm or fast travel. Its an unbelievably huge difference.

Games that took literal minutes to load in now take mere seconds. Once you feel this you will not be able to wait for those older gen loading screens I promise.
