Death is one of if not the best DreamWorks antagonist ever. I like how, at the start, Puss was bragging about having "never been touched by a blade." So the moment Death was actually able to cut him, Puss became a scared, anxious mess. It's the moment he realized that he's not invincible after all.

When Kitty said that she "didn't show up either." It was a lie to make him feel better about himself for not going. She saw how much he regretted that decision and how much it would continue to hurt him. Plus if it wasn't a lie then that would just be bad character writing as she was pissed about it the whole movie. I'd like to think that she wasn't a hypocrite.

Go watch the first Puss in Boots and a pre sequel call "Puss in boots & 3 Diablos" ;) The scene of Big Jack losing against Pinochio was hilarious lool 19:31 : It's Jimmy Cricket from Pinochio's story. At the end "Far Far Away" is the land where is Shrek (Puss in Boots appear in Shrek 2), so Puss return (with his new friends) to see his old friends (A Shrek 5 was announced).
