I love the complexity in Puss' bars. Like, MAP was capitalized because it means Minors Attracted Person - in other words, a pedophile - which plays into Puss' next line about "Keeping [Cat] Far, Far Away from a school zone". This also has another layer with Puss' line "They don't want to hear you say Thinga-ma-jigger no more" which is a play on one of Kendrick's diss tracks on Drake where he says "We don't want to hear you say n***a no more", positioning Puss as Kendrick and Cat as Drake - when obviously the biggest part of that rap beef was Kendrick repeatedly calling Drake a pedophile. In other words, Puss placed the line where he directly calls Cat a pedo between a layered bar implying it right before and a layered bar playing off of the idea right after. That level of internal double meaning that essentially follow the typical Rule Of 3s is some of the cleverest writing I've seen in a rap battle. I also like how Puss' first and second verses are supposed to mirror his narrative progression over the course of the films, especially Last Wish, making this battle a microcosm of his actual character development. And of course, the thematic appropriateness of Puss' last line in the battle mirroring his already mirrored reuse of Death's phrase in Last Wish during the Wishing Star fight couldn't possibly be overstated. I think Puss pretty much already sealed his win by bringing up Seuss' propaganda art and racism and tying it into a reference to the philosophical construct of Death of The Author and then flipping that again to reference his film, and the rest of his lines were really just a victory lap at that point.
