Put an "Add to Google Calendar" Link in an Email Message

Have you ever thought it would be nice to include an "Add to Google Calendar" link in the body of an email message you are sending out to announce an event? Here is one way to make it easy for your email recipients to add YOUR event to THEIR Google Calendar.

I am NOT a google person, actually, I dislike how intrusive it is, BUT I am organizing an online conference and people like the "add to google calendar" feature on the conference schedule. I had no clue, nor I really wanted to learn. But, since I made up my mind, I had to bite the bullet and do it. Your video, was perfect for MAc people like me because I truly don't understand how Google works. Thank you so much for your help!

Hi! I'm trying to set this up but when I open the email and click on add to calendar as a recipient, it only open an empty calendar invitation, it's the right date and time but there is no description nor title. How can I fix this? Thanks

Thanks so much! I am facing an issue. Under "Access Permissions", the option to "See all event details" is disabled as I check the box to "Make details available to public".. what could this be? Kindly help.

I use MacMail. I don't see the bar of icons at the time 3:01 so while I can add the link with details, to the email, as an https, I would like to replace the details by its title - Add to Google Calendar. Note that I have Mac OS Monterey

To my knowledge, no, I don't know of a way to receive notifications when & if the event owner makes a change. If you discover something different, please let me know.

Making "Access Permissions' Public sounds dangerous. This seems to make your entire calendar public.
