I remember the first time I heard God say to me, "Did I ask you to do that?" That was over a decade ago. I am an over achieving helper, who constantly ends up exhausted--in my own strength. Recently, God asked me to read Hosea, I did. Then I had a terrible run in with a friend. I asked Father why these similar things keep happening? He showed me that I kept 'prostituting' myself to helping others. I read a morning devotion all during the same time. "The need is not the call." -Glyn Evans I had been 'lusting' after the needs, good one too! But I wasn't called to them. It almost seemed like everything I understood about being a servant, the hands and feet of Jesus got flipped upside down. Breastplate of righteousness, for me, I know is an area Holy Spirit is about to bring more understanding. Praise God!! Excellent teaching and written word in the description underneath.

Hallelujah be clothed with His righteousness feet fitted with peace, shield of faith to protect us from the enemies, our weapons are not carnal but mighty to the pulling down of strongholds of the devil. The sword of the spirit, the word of God, feed the hungry, clothe the naked and visit the sick and lonely. Amen
