It isn't that Bareman/Adesanya don't understand. They fully understood that offering a June fight wasn't enough turn around for Whittaker. They made the offer in bad faith expecting him to turn it down. This isn't the first time that they've ducked Whittaker for whatever reason. Yet he's the *clear* No. 1 contender. They've got to stop playing games and make the obvious fight.

But there's no-one more deserving of a shot than Rob...as 'No 1 Contender' implies. If Adesanya beats Vettori, how are they doing to dodge Whittaker again...and have any credibility?

Agree one hundred percent I don't see a confident eugene and I don't see a confident adesanya why duck whittaker and find all these excuses to not fight the man he faught Izzy the first time no problem because he was the clear number one contender whittaker could've easily made excuses not to fight adesanya but he did anyways and for them to ask Rob an hour after the gastelum fight knowing that he is injured and would need time to recover and plus quarantine to a quick turn around fight is nothing but a ploy to avoid fighting rob because vettori is the easier fight vettori is a more stationary target than rob and vettori is dumb enough to stay standing with Izzy rob darts in and out really well and will really mix in his wrestling against adesanya and really give him a rough time.
