Dr Monaghan is one of the few that characterises this war here in Ukraine properly, as does Sir James Sherr, that for Putin it's "total war with the west". You only have to take note of the asymmetric stuff going going on in Europe with warehouses burnt down etc.. It doesn't mean a full on attack on NATO either, but maybe they test article 5 by taking a small chunk of Estonia or remote Finland in the north.

Sorry, but I disagree with your assessment. The Russian economy is not doing well when they have to raise interest rates to 20%, their oil refineries are being blown to pieces on a daily basis, their ammo depots are being destroyed, they have to divert 40% of the economy to the war expenditure, and the value of the Ruble is rubble. War is the most expensive endeavor, and no country in the world can sustain it at this magnitude for very long.

The country that closed its borders to block men from leaving and have draft dodgers catching them if they try to leave, is grabbing men from the streets (on video) to send to the Frontline, who has a military ad directed at teenagers, is in need of 500,000 more soldiers and have women in the trenches is ukraine. And is forcing men who already left the country to return to Ukraine to fight
