A user has made us aware of an error in a world map shown in the video at 12:55. The map of Russia cuts off part of Siberia and wrongly shows Crimea as part of Russia. One possible reason if they actually were going to do it: if they knew (or speculated) that China will invade Taiwan soon, it might be a good idea for them to time their attack for the same time when US and the rest are already busy dealing with China. Maybe all 3 have some understanding: Russia goes first and they watch what happens, then China and NK follow.

The USA hasn't grasped a crucial aspect of warfare: when fighting an enemy that lives, reproduces, and fights with virtually no cost, akin to mountain goats, how do you maintain your global logistical network and military operations without going bankrupt? America might be able to overpower China or Russia with its billion-dollar planes and orbital defense systems, but winning against a country that sustains its resistance so cheaply is nearly impossible. It's not about underestimating the enemy's power; it's about overestimating our commitment to maintaining what we've built. That's why, after a decade or two, we often end up on the losing side.

Some people are in big delusion about facts. Although the USA has fought many wars, its dominance of the world after the Second World War ensured relative peace. Although it may be difficult for many people to accept due to their political views, this is a fact. We have experienced a world dominated by authoritarian or fascist regimes. The name of this experience is the First and Second World Wars. These wars were our experience of a multipolar world. The USA is a peacemaking power. Even though it has fought many unjust wars, it is the source of peace. Let's do a simple thought experiment. Let's remove the USA from the world equation for a moment. I leave it to you to imagine how many countries will go to war with each other or invade their neighbors. A world dominated by the USA is always better than a world dominated by countries such as China, Russia, or Iran.

Why is nobody concerned with a combined action by China and NK? Meaning that North Korea could start a limited strike on South Korea to keep the US busy, while shortly thereafter, China goes after Taiwan. From a Chinese perspective, this might be the most promising strategy, as a war between North Korea and the US/South Korea would not directly mean war with China and none of the western allies would be willing to fully invade North Korea. They would simply be busy trying to re-establish the old border.
@ajaykumarsingh7024 ай бұрын
This is exactly why China has kept North Korea around. It has its uses in the long run.

"What if China starts WWIII" - I fail to see how this would work well especially when the US' supply/training centers around being able to fight two large scale wars at the same time. The biggest issue is how would China stop a US-China war from going nuclear and ending it a mass exchange of nuclear bombs.
@ajaykumarsingh7024 ай бұрын
@@David-kd4qr You fail to see that because you are unaware of the fact that China is the world supply chain now. Their industrial prowess dwarfs combined Western world + Russia several hundred times and their population outnumbers the West 1:3 ratio. USA knows that a direct full scale war against China will always end up in defeat of the West, that's why it is longing for regional allies to take the blunt of the war in place of Western world directly. It is also true that once taking heavy losses the USA will go nuclear to save itself. In such a scenario, China will either try to shoot down as much nukes it can and retaliate heavily with its hypersonic nuclear arsenal to end the USA quickly and hope to survive a portion of their civilization or choose to halt the war immediately and calls for a ceasefire at the current war position, defining the new borders. China will most likely choose the latter rather than a nuclear exchange.

Hello DW, why do you say China is eyeing Taiwan? Since Taiwan is China which the whole world, including Germany agrees on and that the two parts will reunify. When we in the west use this type of language, especially state owned media, it sounds like we support Taiwan's independence, which would undoubtedly lead to war.

Korea has never been United as one country they were eithier broken up into kingdoms or independent entities or they were part of the terriory of another country. So peacful Unification into one country never really made sense since that has never been the case before. The two korean countries North and South Korea have also been apart for to long to the point the language is different, the accent is different, the culture is different, the form of government is different. Not to mention both koreas can't even agree on the form of government for Unification and North Korea is not ever guving up it's nukes.

The West has made a serious strategic blunder in pushing Russia closer to China which in turn brought North Korea closer to them as well. Russia and China together would be the greatest threat to the United States in history and has been said as such by many US leaders and military officials. Unlike the Chinese, the Russian people used to feel much closer to Europe and the American people as compared to Asia so with diplomacy the West could have easily kept Russia away from China. But they have now failed and it was all for Ukraine and we'll see in the future if it was the biggest mistake they could have made.

Germany is unfortunately a colony of the US, still occupied since 1945. You should look up what German journalist Udo Ulfkotte (Google his name) said about journalists for hire working for the CIA, as he was one himself until he could no longer live with his conscience for doing it. He died in mysterious circumstances not long after giving that interview.
