The mission was to quickly capture or failing that to damage the Kursk NPP. Crack troops and lots of armour were committed to the mission. A fortnight later and they are still a good way from the plant. So, no what? Russia has longer borders than just about any other country. Crossing them has never been difficult. I think it's the getting back out again that's the problem.

ive not seen one mention by officials that the plant is the objective its more likely the main road in the area and they dont need to get to the road to achieve success only within striking range and last i check they were close
