The latter seem to be confused and disoriented by Ukraine's new and unusual tactics. If the Russians would lose the upcoming battles, then Ukrainian troops could overrun the whole Kursk oblast.

The West is in a state of hoopla not telling their subjects that this incursion into Russian territory is a flash in the pan, fireworks for the lovers of colours and sounds to lift them out of their misery for a day or two. The bill will come later with columns of coffins and funerals with the dead soldiers.
