As a Singaporean, I agree. However, majority of the Singaporeans questioned our govt's decision to adopt "the policies destructive to Russia," as Putin put it. They think it was unnecessary for Singapore govt to do so. I am one of the few minority fooled by the "Russia invaded Ukraine without provocation" narrative. That was until I read about Minsk 2 with Angela Mervel's infamous statement about Minsk 2 was just to buy time to strengthen Ukraine's military. Now, I also believe Singapore govt's destructive policies to Russia is a huge mistake, thus, I support our Minister of Defense, Dr Ng Eng Hen's, stand that Singapore should remain neutral in all geopolitical tensions. You might like to look at a map before wanting to take Hungary out of EU and into BRICS. Hungarian companies will not be happy to fly everything into and out of country to avoid paying EU tarrifs. Also look at amount of economic support Hungary gets from EU. But Hungary is perfectly free too leave EU and NATO any time it wants (think a lot of other members would be delighted to see you go) unlike say 1956 when it wanted to make some changes and Moscow sent in the tanks.

1940 to 1942 russia was an ally with natzies to carve up poland. When natzies attacked Russia it was only able to fight natzies with aid from usa and gb. At the end of ww2 the russian occupation of poland, chequeslosvakia, estonia, latvia,ukrain etc non of which wanted to join russian federation. The russians have always been a failed regressive state right from the serfdom until the revolution through the failed communist state until now with it corrupt mafia governance.

As German woman, respectively cosmopolitana I travelled far, made friends, always crossing borders. Soulmates I met specially in the East and South. When so called Friends came from the West, I woke up. I recognised repeating patterns. Observing reactions within my country, it was my beginning of loosing respect. My friends did not listen, nor look to the truth. I could not belief it and left. What stayed ìs my shame for the German behaving. Sorry is not good enough for what they support. I tryed to do my best, but faiĺed. May a miracle happen and all wake up in time . . .
