Russia probably doesn't want to show off all its goods in this conflict, where NATO gets to engage a proxy (Ukraine), while collecting data on Russian weaponry & performance. Iranian drones would help in this regard. Not to mention, it could help reinforce their military alliance against the West. Russia is the only supplier of arms to India for most of its needs while the west arms India's neighbour to the west under the pretext of fight against terror. I think India has chosen the correct side in this conflict. We will not forget what the west did in 1971 Indo Pak war. I'm not trying to dwell in the past at all but our friendship with Russia is time tested and not born out of need to counterbalance China. Indians are not as dim as West thinks.
