I am a Ford girl myself, I did drive a General Motors car in the 1990s but went back to Fords. But then my dad worked at Ford in Ontario, Canada, my husband and brother work at Fords as well. No I would NOT buy a car from Iran 😂😂😂😂

The car is clearly outdated and austere, with low quality materials and old-style engine which does not give much efficiency. However, if it kept this price in european market, i am sure, no doubts, a lot of europeans would buy it and it would rise among first brands in car market. As it is happening with Chinese MG cars, that are being sold at a much higher price, almost 20k. This success of MG is quite a symptom of EU economic recession

I am from Iran and have owned one recently. Great car if you want low maintenance and very effective means of transport in the city, but you should know it has no luxury spec. Just the necessary options to be a good tool. Reliability is very very good as a result of basic design. If you like cars that do not drain your money it would be a good choice, but if you like your car to be somehow luxurious it should not be on your list. Safety is moderate and not horrible at all, especially if you use it for what it has been designed to do and that is city transport. I hope it succeeds in new markets and fills the vacuum that is in the low budget cars. :)

Stay button, SatNav and a few other cool options that I can't recall right now. The engine is 1500. Quite peppy as it is quite light. Also the inside is quite roomy, as the roofline is curved up and it's quite high. The gear shifter is quite upscale and sporty as well, Backup camera with direction lines too . All in all really great value

This car is cheapest car produced in iran , it has manual and auto versions, saipa sells manual for 5000usd and auto for 6500usd , but you have to register and wait for couple of months to get the car and if you wanna drive it immediately you need to buy it straight from market and car dealers, the prices in the market are 7000usd for manual and 8000usd for auto version, by the way it's a really good car for city driving and going from point A to B, and maintenance and spare parts are also cheap and affordable 🙏

I wish the USA, where I am from, was like this in a sense have more simple and affordable cars that are reliable. They are more focused on building these complicated machines that have way too much tech and I don't always like that. The simple stuff like this is easier to maintain and the price point is very good. As an American, I do like the Saipa brand and I also do like Khodro cars from Iran as well. I would absolutely like to see Iranian cars in the USA more and even Russian brands like Lada and more.

Actually from a practical viewpoint, the color white is the best as it conceals light scratches, refracts the sun rays way better than any other color. If you remove the badges, and countries of origin information from the vehicles; you'll find a large segment of the population around the world who would want to buy these low priced vehicles. Customer support is another important factor of the equation for the success of a product too!

It's a beloved brand back home but rather than come up with something original or even just make the same simple old Russian cars from the USSR times that they have the schematics for, that were built like a tank and sell them for a low price, they're just slapping a badge on an imported Chinese car. Iran has had a very sophisticated and deeply rooted car manufacturing industry dating back to the 60's and 70's. Saipa Quick is a modern version of Iran's production.
