"I think Putin never thought that would happen. Putin thought that we would always be, you know, these these highly corrupted Westerners."

Can you donn't understand? Where the money is, are financial states, where you can stall your money with trust. Than every country has there own laws. You cann't do this without concequinties. This countries will not lose all the other investors in their banking systems, so that they lose all the other rich people, because you are not to be trusted. The Russian has now for a long time courtcases to this countries.

Dude was a predatory capitalist who was stealing the wealth of Russia after the fall of the Soviet Union. After Putin stopped him and his friends, Russia went from a failing, Anarchist State to a growing stable country which is now growing faster than all major NATO nations. Ok, Navalny, but I’d say Assange case is worse, as the formers charges were legitimate and he died of a brain hemorrhage. Then there’s Gonzalo Lira, a U.S. citizen (who I’ve heard liberals say deserved to die due to his opinion), who died in a Ukrainian prison due to not getting medical attention. And where did Snowden go? Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t want to live in Russia atm, but we are on a downward trajectory and they’re on an upward trend. And the propaganda is probably as bad in each country. MSM in US and UK is jarring to watch due to the spin they put on everything.

USA/UK/Germany are all in the stages just before liquidation. 34 TRILLION is a serious amount of money - but don't worry. As long as the people at the top don't reveal the disaster they are in and keep getting paid their annual wage then they are not likely to mention that the west is long since bankrupt. It is an ever expanding bubble with zero resources and one commodity - trust - or as they put it "strength". Yes strength in weakness. That is what saves you all. BRICS are dominating. Just ignore that fact. Wait till you read the news about what they have bought from the countries who couldn't pay the energy bills. I watched Japan buy up lots of newYork buildings and the yanks were raging. Now that USA is worth a total of MINUS trillions who would be so nasty as to buy the whole heap for buttons and then sell it to Congo? And let the Congo boys sort out the mess.

It's us who will pay in the end... Confiscating assets is not a one-way street, banning imports just pushes up inflation and it's unlikely to change anything. You don't get that Russian economy doesn't work in the same way as the west. We've been sold these "hopes" all along, it's just coping with the fact that Ukraine is losing and has to settle for less than what it had on Feb 23, 2022.

@@tudvalstone It's economy works the exact same way, hence why its currency is in the gutter and Putin and his dogs cry every chance they can about it. Don't mistake Putin treating his population like medieval peasants as a different working economy. The Russian people are so use to getting beaten down by their oppressive government that it gives the Kremlin a lot more leeway to tighten the screws in situations like this. The only reason it doesn't hurt them more is because they have alternate trade partners who have help lessen the blown, but even then it wasn't enough considering the trade Russia lost with the west. If the west continues to target the holes in their sanctions it will only cause Russia even more harm. In regards to the west, we haven't even bothered to roll out of bed yet. The impact from Russia's war of expansion has had a very limited impact on most nations, and its populations. As usual the west refuses to sacrifice anything in order to deal with a future threat that is attempting to wipe a nation off the map. It's only fair Russia pay for the harm its caused trying to meet the ambitions of their dictator.
