Ukrainian strikes on the complex components of oil refineries are having an effect. Distilling columns are very expensive and difficult to repair/replace under sanctions. Production of distilled oil products like gasoline and diesel have a direct impact on all sectors of the economy, especially agriculture. Tractors and trucks.

The only impact those strikes have is oil prices going up and Russia making ever more money off of it. That's the reason why the US are asking Ukraine to stop these strikes, they are losing money.

I try to avoid discussing strategies that are working. We had a saying here in the states during WW2-- "loose lips sink ships." We had arrested a couple of Japanese spies in Hawaii after Pearl Harbor. One had pretended to be a drunkard who loved fishing and had been standing at the harbor edge fishing to report which ships were in the harbor. All it takes is a bit of seemingly irrelevant, innocuous revelation to be posted during one of these videos, that if a Russian watches it and reports, might take down Ukrainian operations. This is why I never think out loud what Ukrainian operatives might be doing. The fame for being the first one to guess correctly turns into infamy and shame if you inadvertently help the Russians figure something out. Democracy is by far the best form of government that has ever been accomplished. Freedom is its cornerstone. However, the Russians take advantage of this in their completely un-free state by trying to turn it to their own benefit. We have no idea what they're doing (e.g.-- how are they still manufacturing missiles despite sanctions? I heard "experts" telling me for over a year when they would "run out." Still waiting for it to actually happen), but they know EXACTLY what WE are doing, and if we blabblabblab away about what UKRAINIANS might be doing we are shooting the war effort in the foot. Thank you for your time. Slava Ukraini 💪🇺🇦❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥

Likely what happened was that a Ukrainian responsible for the continuation of the current status of the plant said something to a rather unintelligent and irresponsible russian captain that was taken as an offense and the Captain and a couple of other rogue soldiers had some "fun" at the expense of everyone else. Or a couple of bored russians decided to see what would happen both to the plant, itself, and world reaction. Was it carefully designed by a russian expert that relayed the exact instructions to a high ranking Officers, and that Officer ordered exactly what he was instructed to do, sound like it could very well be . . . no I doubt it.

With payload you end up with say 20km operating range, all you need is a signal booster drone following at less than 15km and all is fine. Besides, the Kakhovka reservoir is 8km-10km wide at Enerhodar. This is simply misinformation.
