I did mini golf on the dream solo...I did almost lose my recently bought "Captain Awesome" hat, but I'm just a sucker for mini golf and can't wait to do it again in November 😅

Putt putt is fun onboard but, you're right, it can get gusty up there. Post-Covid, DCL has replaced the standard white/textured golf balls with brown/smooth balls - I'm guessing its an environmental thing, with the old, standard, golf balls ending up in the ocean too often and these newer, wooden looking, golf balls being able to degrade in sea water. And you're also right - Nassau stinks but it makes for a quiet port day and there are, a few, port adventures that get you to a good stretch of sand there, but I'm not giving those away and would ask that you don't either. ;)

The kids loved it. We did it on embarkation day and one day at sea and one more time while we waited to get off the ship at Castaway. I would really like to be playing putt putt right now on those ships 😩

Miniature golf is the game. Putt-Putt is the name brand of a specific company. There are several name brands people use as the item, such as Styrofoam, Frisbee, Jacuzzi, Band-Aid and others. :) I like that you said it was "either free of $4,000." I mean, I guess if you could _sneak_ aboard a ship, it would then be free. ;)

We love putt-putt on the ship. It's such a laughfest because we're SO BAD! We usually let people play ahead of us because it takes forever for both of us to get the ball in the hole:)

My husband and our youngest daughter tried to play putt putt on our last cruise. Some woman kept sitting down on the course and followed them to each hole trying to carry on a conversation with them. They finally quit before they could finish. (I was at a DVC presentation just to get free ship credit! Lol!)

I was thinking of making sure to fit mini golf in our plans for our 1st cruise. Thank you for the honest review so now I wont plan on it and if we get to it cool but I wont be upset if we don’t get around to it. Question with it being windy up there is it really noisy? My son has spd and is autistic and I’m wondering if it would bother him to much.

It is hard to say whether it is noisy. You do not hear anything but wind. Not sure how wind noise factors in. And yes that is a good take away. If you have time to do it, then do it.. but if not, it is nothing to stress over.
