Back working just in time for the season , good team work. One of the big disadvantages working along in the garage after a great effort get down under the bus..you have the wrong size wrench; then i wondering since i'm down here would a nap be a better option verses getting up for that 19mm verse the 17mm in my hand..

My shop is big enough to put in a California King or bigger bed with room to spare, so not sleeping on the shop floor.

Think a lawn mower engine would work? (Vertical shaft Briggs and Straton 7.25hp 163cc) the original on my Huskee is a B.Stratton 6.5hp 190cc I was hoping all yhose vertical shaft engines had the same key shaft and close to same length

@@Bigdaddy1992. I was since told that: Most lawn mower engines have an aluminum flywheel, and rely on the weight of the blade for starting momentum. Your splitter engine will have a cast iron flywheel for starting momentum. If you take the blade and adapter off the mower you will find it hard to start and it will kick back real bad. I have since found a Briggs Stratton Elite Pro 9.5hp vertical shaft engine (steel flywheel) but the crankshaft is 7/8"x 1 11/16" and the standard one on the briggs stratton 650 series is 7/8'x 3 5/32" so it's more than an inch short.. I'm gonna have to alter the pump mounting bracket in order for it to work and that is where I am out of my element.. no welder or knowledge in that arena, and was told that I oughta just go up to a 13gpm pump then too and there again I'm lost as I've never fixed or installed hydraulic lines.. I do think if I COULD do this, that it'd make for a pretty awesome splitter

@JoshNoss I believe they are right with the flywheel. I went to a local dealer and told them what I was doing, and they helped me find this motor that would work for me

It’s amazing how much firewood comes out of a big round like that. I like the big round for the quantity of firewood, but it’s a lot of work.
